Evil girl dropped her one goal in life because she fell in love with a puppygirl.

Spoilers for Talentless Nana (You should at least watch episode 1 if you're curious):

oh my god I am so sorry

Started using phone time to read library ebooks instead of scrolling and itโ€™s made me back into the crazy voracious reader I was at age 12. iโ€™ve been averaging a book a day this week. everyone delete your social media and get your ass on libby

swooping in to let ppl know if they ask their public library alot of them have ebook apps associated with their library and all you need is to register for a library card you can also use it as a way to check for books you want or reserve/request books for pickup at your local public library

i fucking love libraries

The cast of the Original Trilogy had cliched, boring character concepts that were executed wonderfully enough for it not to matter.ย

ย The cast of the Prequel Trilogy had interesting concepts that were executed poorly enough to make them seem utterly stupid.ย

The cast of the Sequel Trilogy had amazing, thought-provoking concepts that were executed in the town square and put up on pikes as a warning to others.

This is actually probably the best summary of star wars Iโ€™ve ever seen

When it comes to game prices sometimes someone'll bring up inflation, and yeah, if something was $60 in 1995 and $60 now then it's lower value now. They are very smart and perceptive for remembering inflation exists

They seem less able to remember that the cost in 1995 was a complete game, and the one in 2025 has tacked on top of it many additional costs in terms of DLC, microtransactions, and subscriptions, though. Like maybe the change in market from "and if it's really popular, maybe they'll be an expansion pack in a year" to "we locked off parts of the game behind additional purchases and you have to pay to go online" is a little relevant

Criterion Collection has announced they will be launching a channel on TikTok to reach a new audience with their preservation of classic films. Launching today, Criterion has posted My Dinner with Andrรฉ (1981) as itโ€™s first upload.

Being an evil doppelganger has to be so fucked up like imagine meeting a better version of yourself. Some chain of events going differently that led to "you" being a better person in a way you can never achieve. Personally I'd have no other option but to try and kill them

It's always "oh no my evil clone or twin or whatever is trying to kill me" and never How is my evil clone? Says a lot about society

I think I always take evil doppelganger stories too literal cuz that's just an undocumented twin with behavioral issues I wasn't aware of. Like girlie needs a therapist and probably an ID and like medical records.

me when i cant comprehend that different continents have different animals

the rest of the paragraph that was cut out in that screenshot literally explains the reasons behind the easter bilby and bluntly theyre minimising the impact that wild rabbits have had as an introduced species in our ecosystem.

the easter bibly was an ingenious campaign that builds in social awareness and change to an ongoing annual tradition without detracting from what that tradition represents. the choice behind it was intentional

saying Australians "don't like bunnies" because of ecological damage is like saying Americans "don't like rabies" because of the health risks. They're a major problem and the Easter Bilby rules.
