The Paper Mario Zine 2024 is here!

Over 20 artists have collaborated to create this fanzine just in time for the remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. This zine is filled with love for the entire series and beautifully illustrated over 40 pages of works.

The zine is pay-what-you-want, with all proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders, a humanitarian organization that provides aid to people in affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care.

We Launch in Five

Mario and Kamek have a chat on the deck of Bowser’s airship.

The last remaining of Bowser’s airships capable of flight bustled with activity as minions scurried around getting it ready for liftoff. Kamek stood among them, watching to make sure preparations were going smoothly; as Bowser had been neatly folded into a square shorter than he was with worse mobility, it was up to him to make sure the minions didn't somehow mess something up.

...even if he would rather be sweeping up that conspicuous dirt pile over there.

...ah, but he should focus; he was hardly a groundskeeper anymore. And he’ll hopefully never be again. He’s got enough titles stuffed in his job description as it is.

It took almost 20 years but everyone's finally been reunited. <3

I had already been working on something like this for a while and I'm really proud of myself for finishing this on time. I had fun the entire time I was working on this and I learned a lot.

This was my piece for @paper-mario-zine 2024. I'm really proud of how it came out and how the entire zine turned out. It took a lot of work to get this done and get myself to sit down and complete it in time. I hope everyone enjoys the zine as much as I enjoyed making this and seeing the other submissions!
