I`m not a bot, but I wish I was one.

I am sorry if I don't respond to your messages, I don't have much time right now.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!

I am a small blog. The only reason my posts circulate around is because I tag and dm people to share them. You can tag me but please do not expect to get more than 5 reblogs.

And I'm sorry but I cannot write posts for more fundraisers. I can share (reblog) your posts and make an occasional update but that's it. Please understand that for several reasons (that I don't want to list here) I cannot do more. I'm sorry.

I closed ask box because i can't go through it anymore. I will try to go through your messages but that will be slow.

If you are a person fundraising please understand that me answering an ask would not get you any donations. The only way is to make a post but as i said i can't do it for more people at the moment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION OVER!

If you want to watch Falastin's campaign you can follow her account HERE or this account.

Today, Israeli airstrikes targeted the tents of displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. The bombing resulted in at least 20 martyrs and many injuries. The attack was dangerously close to our own tents, and the area is filled with destruction and fear.

The situation is getting worse, with terror everywhere. Please help by sharing my campaign. Thank you all for your support!

$8,816 USD raised $9,000 goal

Thank you all

There’s been endless talk about bodies vanishing in Gaza: martyrs who don’t just die but are erased, turned into nothing more than smoke rising into the sky, like their souls got hacked and rage-quit existence entirely. And no, this isn’t some cinematic moment or dystopian novel. This is our everyday reality, unfolding in front of us like a cursed game with no exit.

Bullets? Sure, horrifying, but they play by rules. You’ve got entry wounds and exit wounds. Grotesque, but at least they make sense. Shrapnel? Same deal. It tears through you, maybe stays lodged, maybe tears its way out. Awful, but still following some logic. Both bullets and shrapnel can, yes, kill you, but they won’t make your body vanish.

But the weapons used by the IDF? They don’t just kill; they erase you. They leave nothing behind but the void, as if the universe itself decided you were a bug in the system and patched you out. These weapons aren’t just meant to kill; they’re engineered for maximum obliteration. Their purpose isn’t just destruction, it’s erasure. Like someone thought, "What if war, but with a side of existential dread?"

You can see that in this video. A martyr’s body lying in the dirt, and this strange black-and-white smoke curling out of him, like his very existence was being deleted in real time. It wasn’t fire. It wasn’t anything normal. It was like the laws of physics glitched out around him, like reality had decided to rage-quit too. It wasn’t just a death; it was a redacted event.

But here’s the thing: the Gazan people are still holding on. Barely. We’re clinging to what’s left of life as if it’s the last lifeline in an impossible final boss battle. But let’s be real, we can’t do it alone. There’s no Phoenix Kit or supply drop coming for us. That’s where you come in. Please help us. Donate and reblog this post to spread our story. BTW, this isn’t just my battle. It’s for 26 lives, including two orphaned children who’ve lost everything, and a family member battling hemiplegia after shrapnel tore through her during a bombing. She need urgent surgery to replace the infected, failing plates keeping her alive. The stakes couldn’t be higher. The future of 26 lives rests in your hands.

The video showing the injured family member is shared before in this post: Link.

Are banks operational in Gaza? And how do we deal with cash flow?

The targeting of the occupation against the banking and financial systems in the Gaza Strip, the destruction of dozens of exchange offices and ATMs, the prohibition of financial transfers to Gazans, and the absence of regulatory oversight from the relevant authorities have led to chaos and the dominance of banks and exchange offices, resulting in an increase in the financial discount as commissions on the amounts that Palestinians there seek to obtain in cash.

So as not to get away from the main topic of this post, let's focus on answering these two questions directly.

Yes and no.

How is that, Mahmoud? Explain.

Yes, all banks in Gaza have shut down their headquarters since the war broke out, and it's not possible to contact their employees to complete certain transactions.

But banks operate digitally through some official apps, mainly Bank of Palestine since its headquarters is in Ramallah and not Gaza, so it operates normally.

So you're saying the banks are closed does that mean ATMs are, too? How do you withdraw your money?

Through traders in Gaza.

How does that work?

Let's say Mahmoud needs to withdraw 100 dollars in cash. He goes to one of the known traders in Gaza and says "I need 100 dollars in cash, how much is commission?"

How much is commission?

Commission differs from one trader to another. It comes down to their personal desire. For example on the day of writing this post, dated 4/12/2024, commission for cash withdrawal has reached 30% of the amount withdrawn.

In other words, if I had 100 dollars in my bank account, I need to pay 30 dollars to the trader, and receive 70 dollars in cash. So, the price of converting bank credit to cash is 30% of that amount.

Meaning if I had 1000 dollars, I receive 700 dollars instead. Imagine that level of injustice, despair, and despotism.

When you receive money from outside of Palestine, the trader also keeps 30%.

But there's nothing we can do. We have no choice but to accept these terms, just to be able to eat and drink and go on with our daily needs.

On the other hand, prices of goods are astronomical. I am not exaggerating when I say that if a person in Gaza has unlimited money it still wouldn't be enough.

The smallest of families need 100 dollars a day just to get by with the bare minimum.

Help us to provide food for today and feed our children in the midst of this famine.

Only $350 left to reach the short-term goal of $22,000

Anyone else have a partner who's surprisingly good with a knife? I'm honestly impressed and a little bit nervous! 🎃🎃

While many celebrate fantasy and fun, let’s not forget those who suffer in Palestine. 🎃🎃

Please take a moment to read @falesten-iw Falastin’s story and consider supporting her family. Even the smallest donation can help rescue them and give them a chance to survive in Gaza. Together, we can make a real difference in their lives.

SAMAH'S FAMILY IS IN SEVERE NEED OF SUPPORT

Sama and her family are facing harsh conditions in the heart of war and destruction in Gaza. The family consists of five members: her husband, her two daughters (9 and 2 years old), and her newborn son, who was born in a tent amidst continuous bombing. Heavy rains and strong winds are battering the tent, which is unfit for living, putting their lives at constant risk. With children present, the situation becomes even more difficult.

They have been displaced multiple times, each time facing the same threats. The children are exposed to diseases due to lack of healthcare, and they do not have enough clothes for the winter. The family is also suffering from a severe shortage of all essential supplies needed for survival.

$8,372 out of $20,000

Hello everyone, Falastin has asked me to make a post for her.

Falastin has been trying to raise funds for her 26 family members for over 6 months but hasn't been able to reach her goal. Her family is trapped in Gaza, one of them has been injured by shrapnel from an explosion. These are people who are desperate for just a little bit of relief.

As of right now, Falastin has raised kr196,548 SEK out of her goal of kr1,000,000 SEK. kr54.66 SEK = $5, kr109.32 SEK = $10. Sharing this fundraiser and donating, no matter the amount, will help Falastin reach her goal and work to keep her family safe. Can you share this post, and donate a bit to save lives?

I really appreciate you sharing this post @ellevandersneed.

We’re still in the middle of this fight, and every bit of support gives my family and me some much-needed hope. If you’re able to donate, it would mean so much. If not, even sharing this message helps more than you know. Please help us..

Falastin's campaign received just a bit hort of 100 USD today. That's 3.8 USD per person, and if you follow the stories of other Gazans you should know that's barely anything. I know they are not the only ones suffering from lowering donations right now but it doesn't mean that you can ignore them.

Falastin also has PayPal (in USD) here:

Farah needs a new phone for school!

I have not done a new update on behalf of Farah (@farahmoo2) recently as she has been busy with her studies, but she has contacted me today telling me she has been having difficulty getting any work done or getting much internet connection because her phone is so old, which has been upsetting. Between her chats to me to over the past couple of weeks, the connection cuts out frequently on her end, making her only able to get a few words out. As she is due to sit her final exams in Feb, this cannot go on.

The iPhone 14 pro max is currently €3,000 because of extorient prices in Gaza.

Gaza is currently running on a shortage of doctors. Farah and her sister Shahd (@shah599), who is currently volunteering at the emergency center of the Nasser Hospital seven hours a day, represent hope and a better future for the ill and the injured. Their older sister Nesma (@nesmamomen), tirelessly campaigns on behalf of her family and her sisters' educational future, while also promoting other struggling Gazan fundraisers and helping her community financially.

A new phone may not seem as urgent as something like emergency surgery or food for the day, but it's an essential step in ensuring a future doctor for Gaza.

Shahd and Farah's campaign is currently sitting at €8,340 and there have been no donations for over five hours!

Please help Farah raise the required €3,000 as soon as possible.

I've talked about my friend @shahdhatem on my blog before. She is a young dentistry student, trying to get by in war-torn Gaza.

Over the past year, she has been posting regular updates on her blog in the hopes of not only educating people on the day-today lives of people living under this genocide, but also to spread awareness of the struggle she and her family are living in.

As of writing this post, Shahd's fundraiser is stalling at $29,095. In the past few days, they have received very few donations at all. And with prices getting so high, Shahd and her family's survival depends on the donations they are receiving.

Please consider donating whatever you can to Shahd's family. Even if you don't have a lot to donate, every bit helps! And the more you spread the word about Shahd's fundraiser and her family, the better!

Shahed's campaign is stagnating. Please help her get to her short term goal of 30k. Share and donate 🙏

HEALTH EMERGENCY!!

Hola beautiful people, I'm so sorry to come back so soon with bad news.

Just a couple of hours ago my mother in law felt a bump on one of her breasts.

She has her healthcare from retirement, we're hoping it will cover everything but we have no money for transportation and her assigned healthcare place is very far from us.

Can we get $50 so we can take her tomorrow to get checked, it would be enough for going, coming back and the PayPal % it takes from us.

Thanks so much for everything!!!
