TVLine Items: Sabrina Carpenter Christmas Special, Med Vet’s New Role and More

Sabrina Carpenter is ditching her espresso for a mug of hot chocolate.

The singer/actress will debut her first-ever holiday special, A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter, on Friday, Dec. 6 at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT on Netflix.

The program will feature “unexpected duets and comedic guests you will not want to miss!” the streamer touts.

* Brian Tee (Chicago Med) has landed the lead voice role in Get Jiro!, Adult Swim’s animated series based on the DC/Vertigo graphic novels written by Anthony Bourdain and Joel Rose, our sister site Deadline reports. The show “is set in a not-too-distant future L.A. where master chefs rule the town and people literally kill for a seat at the best restaurants. A mysterious sushi master named Jiro enters a bloody culinary war and begins to craft his recipe for revenge.”
