BUT this doesn't always indicate a length of time. If you work a year with equipment or even just a day or an hour, you can still say you're experienced with it.

'Seasoned' usually implies more of a veteran at something, or at least having done it for a long time, and for instance, knowing what to do in every situation that might happen because they've seen it all. "Oh, Jack's a seasoned theater actor! It'll be his 15th year on stage tonight." "He's a seasoned detective, he's been doing this kind of thing for 35 years! If anybody can find that crook, it's him."
