The dimensions for emotional quotients are self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, empathy, and social skills. About 100 questionnaires were distributed and collected from women food operators around Klang Valley for a month. The findings showed that most women food operators agreed that during and after economic crises the top three dimensions are self-regulation, self-motivation, and self-awareness. They also agreed that after economic crises the top three dimensions are self-motivation, self-awareness, and social skills.

However, the frequent occurrences of disease infections may threaten the sustainability of aquaculture rate production in Malaysia. Meanwhile, fisheries face difficulties to consult these problems with expert due to the farm locations that are scattered in the rural area and the expert. Besides, the insufficient materials of fish disease prevent farmers to acquire additional reference knowledge. Thus, a web based expert system for fish disease (SDIK) was developed to help farmers to identify the fish disease at early stage and made prevention based on the solution given. The development of SDIK is expected that the system is able to educate and inform the farmers and smallholders about fish disease and management. It is not only providing expert knowledge but potentially become learning resources to help farmers develop their own expertise.

In evaluating staff performance, it usually involves awarding numerical values or linguistic labels to their performance. These values and labels are used to represent each staff’s achievement by reasoning incorporated in the arithmetical or statistical methods. However, the staff performance appraisal may involve judgments which are based on imprecise data especially when human (the superior) tries to interpret another human (his/her subordinate) performance. Thus, the scores awarded by the appraiser are only approximations. From fuzzy logic perspective, the performance of the appraisee involves the measurement of his/her ability, competence and skills, which are actually fuzzy concepts that can be captured in fuzzy terms. Accordingly, fuzzy approach can be used to handle these imprecision and uncertainty information. Therefore, the performance appraisal system can be examined using Fuzzy Logic Approach and this was carried out in the study. The study utilized hierarchical fuzzy inference approach since performance evaluation comprises of four criteria; namely work achievement, skill knowledge, personal quality, and community services. The output of the study provides the ranking for staff performance. From this study, it is expected that reasoning based on fuzzy models will provide an alternative way in handling various kinds of imprecise data, which often reflected in the way people think and make judgments.

used to measure the satisfaction and retention of students are perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness,
enjoyment, design features, security and privacy, and internet connection. The result of the study indicated
that for the LMS factors, the Internet connection and security and privacy have a significance positive
influence on e-satisfaction. Although the design feature of LMS was demonstrated to have little influence
on e-satisfaction, this factor may have influence on specific type of e-learning system. In contrast, only
Internet connection has a significance positive influence on e-retention, while the design features and the
security and privacy are shown to have less influence on e-retention.

The roles include as a change agent, enhancing e-business requirements, promoting globalization and innovation, contributing to productivity growth, strengthening competitiveness, improving business processes along the whole value chain, determining future business strategies and generating profits for business. Previous studies have shown that by adopting ICT, the organization will attain positive impacts of innovation especially in product innovation, process innovation and competitive advantage. This indicates that ICT has significantly contributed towards promoting innovation in the organization. This paper presents the results of the study of ICT innovation in Malaysian Public Research Institute and Government Agencies (IPA). The study focuses on existing ICT strategies that promote innovation in IPA. Data was collected through questionnaires which were distributed to the selected Heads of IT in IPA. The findings of the study shows ICT innovation helped IPA in areas of creativity, product development, capacity development and strategic. This research also shows that IPA produced several ICT strategic applications for promoting innovation derived from ICT Strategic Plan (ICTSP). However, at the Asia e University in Malaysia, most of the learners are adult learners who are actively engaged in utilizing learning materials available in the learning management system (LMS). A sample group of 145 adult learners responded to the study, demonstrating that the contents of the university's learning management system are of quality, complete, relevant and current. Organizations in various industries are not only looking for graduates with excellent academic grades but also those graduates whom are equipped with other criteria such as holding soft-skills ability, are pro-active and independent, and having leadership capability. Thus, evaluating students' performances has become a challenge for universities to ensure that students are rewarded accordingly. In general, the evaluations of student's academic achievement usually involve a number of judgments and are based on imprecise data. However, the major limitation in the current academic evaluation include the lack of information behind the evaluation method used and the criteria considered in classifying the student's grade. Therefore, this research investigates the implementation of fuzzy logic in student's achievement evaluation. Fuzzy terms can be used to represent academic performance evaluation that involves the measurement of capability, know-how and skill. Hierarchical fuzzy approach was used to evaluate student's achievement and further classified into certain group of classes. In this case, reasoning based on fuzzy approach is likely to offer an alternative way of handling imprecise data, especially in making decisions and judgments.

Recently, one of the ways to measure performance is through individual's contribution on the Net. Activities captured by the web site, such as Online Community Portal, are useful information for measuring performance. In this case, data collected in the log file of a website server provide valuable information to web administrator and web designer. However, since the data accumulated were in large quantity, analyzing them create problem. Nevertheless, web mining can be utilized to minimize the problem, as it has been identified as one of the processes to analyze these types of data. The output from this process is identification of usage patterns of the user's access. In this study, Association Rule Mining (ARM), a technique to mine data in log file is used. This technique allocates rules that satisfy user defined constraints on minimum support and confidence with respect to a given dataset. The result of the study shows that users in the faculty prefer to participate in the teaching and learning option as compared to other options. This result would simplify and assist appraiser and superior in the faculty to evaluate work performances of faculty members objectively and clearly. In addition, users of the website can actively participate and inform/share their work performances within the faculty.

They are the subject itself, time constraints and fresh engineering graduates teaching this critical subject. This paper proposes a new method called CD-interactive with Collaborative Learning (CDiCL) which merge the strength of multimedia CD and collaborative learning to be taught in a computer laboratory. Pre Test, Post Test and Control method are used to collect primer data among 4 groups of certificate engineering first semester students in 2 engineering departments in a polytechnic, Malaysia. Besides, a series of interviews and video recordings support the findings that CDiCL has helped the understanding towards mathematics algebra among the users. SPSS and ATLAS/ti are used to justify this claim.

Pre Test, Post Test and Control method are used to collect primer data among 4 groups of certificate engineering first semester students in 2 engineering departments in a polytechnic, Malaysia. Besides, a series of interviews and video recordings support the findings that CDiCL has helped the understanding towards mathematics algebra among the users. However, students who are new to this research activity may find the activity highly challenging. This article presents the findings from a classroom research involving pre-service teachers on the use of concept mappings for conducting and creating a literature review. The findings indicate that students are overwhelmed by the vast amount of information that they encounter and often do not know how to identify and organize the information to be of use in their research. However, by using concept maps, the creation of a literature review becomes less daunting and more bearable throughout. Concept mappings are used for two purposes mainly that is, to summarize the information obtained from an individual source and to synthesise information obtained from the different sources.

used to measure the satisfaction and retention of students are perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness,
enjoyment, design features, security and privacy, and internet connection. The result of the study indicated
that for the LMS factors, the Internet connection and security and privacy have a significance positive
influence on e-satisfaction. Although the design feature of LMS was demonstrated to have little influence
on e-satisfaction, this factor may have influence on specific type of e-learning system. In contrast, only
Internet connection has a significance positive influence on e-retention, while the design features and the
security and privacy are shown to have less influence on e-retention.
