"Purpose" has not been considered as "critically important" as a technical term in managerial theories as it is rather a subjective factor; however, it is now seen in a new light. There is a growing trend to discuss various aspects of purpose, as well as a reflection among academia and consultants about the excesses of market fundamentalism, which is "profit over purpose. " We are also witnessing a radical shift in management thinking: from analytical to creative, from financial output to social impact. Design thinking is just an example. Furthermore, through the so-called "lost two decades" of Japan (note: long economic stagnation since the 1990s), Japanese firms have tended to be less conscious of their purpose and inclined toward means or short-tem objectives. Purpose is now starting to be recognized as a critical factor in management. However, two questions will emerge: first, how do we embed (good) purpose into managerial practice? second, how could we coordinate or orchestrate such diverse beliefs and knowledge of employers and stakeholders within organizations or society? The first question requires philosophical investigation, namely by Aristotle and others. In answer to the second question, in this short essay, the author names these methodological problems as "Purpose Engineering" and tries to discuss both management on purpose (MOP) and management of purposes (MOPs). We first explore emerging trends in "purpose" and its place in modern organizations, which leads to the concept of "purpose engineering". Here we discuss the engineering of purpose and its Aristotelian philosophical aspect. In the next section, we clarify the difference between purpose and objective and discuss the three different levels of purposes: "infra", "pivotal" and "meta". Purpose engineering is coupled with "design thinking" in the third section. The human-centered factors of design thinking and prototyping (trial and error) prove to be practical for discovering the "means" for the purpose: the integration of intuition and instincts, very subjective human characteristics, into purposes is explained as "abductive reasoning". The final section argues how management can adopt a societal perspective, which ultimately underpins purpose engineering and hence social innovation. The common good, which subsumes individuals and organizations, requires virtuous cooperation. Past national and current social innovation projects are offered as examples and illustrations supporting the principles presented in this essay.

Driven by the visions of Data Science, recent years have seen a paradigm shift in Natural Language Processing (NLP). NLP has set the milestone in text processing and proved to be the preferred choice for researchers in the healthcare domain. The objective of this paper is to identify the potential of NLP, especially, how NLP is used to support the knowledge management process in the healthcare domain, making data a critical and trusted component in improving the health outcomes. This paper provides a comprehensive survey of the state-of-the-art NLP research with a particular focus on how knowledge is created, captured, shared, and applied in the healthcare domain. Our findings suggest, first, the techniques of NLP those supporting knowledge management extraction and knowledge capture processes in healthcare. Second, we propose a conceptual model for the knowledge extraction process through NLP. Finally, we discuss a set of issues, challenges, and proposed future research areas.

Triple Bottom Line (3 BL) Sustainability has been expressed as a tool in the hands of policy makers to achieve competitive advantage. Closed-Loop Supply Chain (CLSC) conceptualizes the design, control, and operation of the supply chain systems to recover the value from the product even after their useful life through the processes of reuse and recycle. Efficient management of CLSC operations in metal recycling industry will enhance 3BL sustainability. The present study investigates and shortlists critical sustainability factors in metal recycling CLSC operations. The study applies Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to identify the most important factors and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) techniques to check the reliability and validity of these factors through statistical analysis. The study identifies five most important factors to achieve sustainability in metal recycling CLSC. Although the article is focused on the Indian metal recycling industry but factors can be relevant for researchers in other developing countries, where similar economic, social and environmental conditions exist.

This research presents a case study of the wine distribution system of the Dominican Republic (DR). It focuses on the emerging wine market which is not a wine producing region, however represents a large and growing market for export of wine. Data were collected though in-depth interviews with major representatives of the DR wine distribution system-importers, retailers, managers of restaurants, all-inclusive resorts, and hotels. In addition, field observations were used as a mechanism of qualitative data collection. The findings show that almost all available wine in the DR is controlled by importers. Importers negotiate promotional costs, slot fees, and promotional budgets with the producers and provide credit to retailers. The Dominican Republic wine market operates in a highly competitive environment; Spain, Chile, Italy, and the United States are primary competitors on this market. Retail represents the biggest channel for sales of imported wines.

This paper employs comparative longitudinal case study research to investigate why and how strong dyadic interfirm ties and two alternative network architectures (a ‘strong ties network’ and a ‘dual network’) impact the innovative capability of the lead firm in an alliance network. I answer these intrinsically cross-level research questions by examining how three design-intensive furnishings manufacturers managed their networks of joint-design alliances with consulting industrial design firms over more than 30 years. Initially, in order to explore the sample lead firms’ alliance behavior, I advance an operationalization of interorganizational tie strength. Next, I unveil the strengths of strong ties and the weaknesses of a strong ties network. Finally, I show that the ability to integrate a large periphery of heterogeneous weak ties and a core of strong ties is a distinctive lead firm’s relational capability, one that provides fertile ground for leading firms in knowledge-intensive alliance networks to gain competitive advantages whose sustainability is primarily based on the dynamic innovative capability resulting from leveraging a dual network architecture.

Knowledge management is currently changing significantly. KM effectively uses the right information and communication technology (ICT) and social interaction. New ways that exist in the virtual world make it possible to support knowledge and the process of acquiring it because to create knowledge and the process of sharing knowledge in a virtual world environment takes into account the social aspects needed. With the use of web 2.0 technologies, the main communication media in Second Life in the form of text, voice, instant messaging (IM), email and blogs can be maximized. By conducting exploratory analysis on "second life" research that contributes to a general understanding of how technology can be used to support or activate KM in education. College Student and lecturer can participate in teaching and learning processes, while academic staff supports the University business processes. A result provides factors that effects increase and impairment on student score, framework of 4 Pillar Solution Model for Second Life Education is formed and evaluation knowledge sharing maturity using COBIT 4.1 Framework and Maturity Level Classification using CMMI Model.

Requirements Management is one of the challenging and key tasks in the development of software products in distributed software development environment. One of the key reasons found in our literature survey the failure of software projects due to poor project management and requirement management activity. This main aim of this paper 1. Formulate a framework for the successful and efficient requirements management framework for Global Software Development Projects. (GSD) 2. Design a Mixed organization structure of both traditional approaches and agile approaches, of global software development projects. 3. Apply Ontology based Knowledge Management Systems for both the approaches to achieve requirements issues such as missing, inconsistency of requirements, communication and knowledge management issues and improve the project management activities in a global software development environment. 4. Propose requirements management metrics to measure and manage software process during the development of information systems. The major contribution of this paper is to analyze the requirements management issues and challenges associated with global software development projects. Two hypotheses have been formulated and tested this problem through statistical techniques like correlation and regression analysis and validate the same.

Child protection act is all about giving protection to children who are experiencing maltreatment and abuse by their parents or someone. With knowledge about the child protection act, children can prevent the instance of child abuse and maltreatment. Protection is significant to an individual, especially children. In relation to this, the study used a descriptive correlation design to know the association between the knowledge and the extent of welfare and safety of students who are involved in this study. The researchers used a checklist to collect the responses. The data collected were treated through weighted mean and chi-square. The students need to learn further on the Child Protection Act.

This paper provides an introduction to the process of of creating a knowledge management system for a small to medium organisation. It looks at a range of strategies and policies which can be used to help capture, transfer, share and create knowledge.

This paper accepts the contingency view of knowledge management and recognises that different approaches to knowledge management are not mutually exclusive and no one approach is instinctively preferable to another. When improving KM or implementing a new system, one must consider the characteristics of the existing KM infrastructure and establish policies and strategies aimed at addressing current, and sustaining future knowledge needs of the organisation necessary to achieve its strategic vision.

In the knowledge explosion era, the World Wide Web provides another new channel which even spread the news, knowledge and information in a faster and quicker way. Whilst the banks in the old days mainly sell business, modern banks also sell knowledge. Banks with the most updated information will successfully retain their competitive edge. This paper aims at reviewing the knowledge management, sharing and creation in the developing countries' banking industry via extensive journal articles review.

Emerging thoughts on quality suggest that three principal sources of customer-based value creation exist for firms operating in the online marketplace. These include a focus on delivering (1) service quality, (2) product quality, and (3) eBusiness quality. Drawing on strategic choice theory coupled with configuration theory, we conducted a profile deviation analysis among customers of online grocery firms using the “ideal” quality profile for four operational logistics strategies as the benchmark (semi extended strategy, fully extended strategy, de-coupled strategy, and centralized extended strategy). The findings suggest that service, product, and eBusiness quality-based fit with operational logistics strategy type are associated with customers’ behavioral (repurchase) intentions. This lends support to the notion that capitalizing on the appropriately weighted quality-focus represents a strategic vehicle to create superior outcomes in online businesses. The makeup of these ideal quality profiles that represent the strongest repurchase intentions of customers is also provided.

Yine, dönüşümsel arabuluculuğun en ayırt edici özelliği, anlaşmazlıkları yönetim sürecinin, kişileri dönüştürebileceğine, geliştirebileceğine ve güçlendirebileceğine yönelik yapıcı ve olumlu duruşudur.

Bush ve P. Folger tarafından geliştirilen "dönüşümsel arabuluculuk modeli" ülkemizde, her sene mahkemelere taşınan yüz binlerce anlaşmazlığı, çekişmeyi ve ayrışmayı yüz yüze müzakere ederek yapıcı ve barışçıl olarak çözme kapasitesini güçlendirmek için bir fırsat ve araç olacaktır. Cezalandırıcı adalet anlayışından, onarıcı adalet anlayışına dönme çabalarına ışık tutacaktır.

Bu eser,içerdiği alternatif paradigma çerçevesinde hukuk sistemimize yeni giren arabuluculuk modelinin doğru ve amacına uygun kullanılması için de referans olacak anlamlı ve önemli bir eserdir. Buna ek olarak, anlaşmazlık çözümü üzerine çalışan hukukçulara, psikologlara, psikolojik danışmanlara, eğitimcilere, psikiyatristlere ve sosyal çalışmacılara hem kurumsal anlamda hem de somut anlaşmazlıkların ve çatışmaların yapıcı ve barışcıl yönetimi konusunda yol gösterecek temel bir başvuru kaynağı olacaktır.

The study aimed to identify the effect of  creativity orientation to achieve competitive advantage in Jordan telecom  group. The study used the descriptive analytical research method which was appropriate for the purposes of research. The target population consisted of all employee who work in the group, The research used the simple random sample and designed a questionnaire to collect data from the study sample .The research distributed (398) questionnaires, (306) questionnaire were returned and (55) were dropped due to incomplete answers, however, (250) questionnaire were used for analysis. Different statistical methods were used to achieve the objectives of this study.
The results of the study showed that there is a significant effect the effect of creativity orientation to achieve competitive advantage in Jordan telecom group, the results also showed that creativity culture the largest impact in achieving competitive advantage, finally, Delegation of authority had the lowest impact in achieving competitive advantage for Jordan telecom group.
Finally, the research recommended that Jordan telecom group should focus on creativity orientation aspects especially the creative culture because of this dimension has great importance in achieving competitive advantage, the study also recommended to hold many of sessions concerned of creativity, and development new department concerned with the areas of creativity.
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر التوجه الإبداعي في تحقيق الميزة التنافسية في مجموعة الاتصالات الأردنية ، وقد اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على منهج البحث الوصفي التحليلي الملائمة لأغراض البحث، وقد تكون مجتمع الدراسة من موظفي المجموعة باختلاف المناصب التي يشغلونها وباختلاف موقع الخدمة داخل المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، خلال عام 2014، وتم استخدام اسلوب العينة العشوائية البسيطة لاختيار العينة من مجتمع الدراسة وصممت الاستبانة لغرض جمع البيانات من عينة الدراسة حيث تم توزيع (398) استبانة استرجع منها (305) استبانة، واستبعد منها (55) استبانة بسبب عدم ملائمتها للتحليل، وبالتالي تم تحليل (250) استبانة، وتم اجراء المعالجات الإحصائية التي تتناسب مع أغراض وأهداف الدراسة.
وقد توصلت الدراسة الى مجموعة من النتائج، كان من أهمها وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α≤ 0.05) للتوجه الإبداعي في تحقيق الميزة التنافسية في مجموعة الاتصالات الاردنية، كما أظهرت النتائج أن التمكين هو البعد الأكثر تأثيراً من أبعاد التوجه الإبداعي في تحقيق الميزة التنافسية، بينما كانت تفويض السلطة البعد الأقل تأثيراً.
وعليه فقد أوصى الباحث إدارة المجموعة بالاهتمام بجوانب التوجه الإبداعي وخصوصاً الثقافة الإبداعية، لما لهذا البعد من أهمية كبيرة في تحقيق الميزة التنافسية، كما أوصت الدراسة بعقد دورات تهتم بالإبداع، واستحداث دائرة تهتم بمجالات الإبداع.

Research that has been conducted on university-industry collaborations predominantly examines knowledge exchange in the field of high technology where the output is a material product, or income stream. The material product is assumed to act as a proxy for knowledge exchange and/or knowledge transfer; the exchange is propagated by diffusion and achieved by fiat. This chapter indicates how, at least in the case of the creative industries, the normative model is stymied by organisational asymmetries and differing scales. Moreover, these approaches assume a lack of institutional embedding; on the contrary, our research suggests need for careful attention to these issues. The economic field of the cultural economy contrasts markedly with that of high-technology in terms of the form of products/outputs as well as organisationally. Accordingly, we argue that an appreciation of collaboration and knowledge exchange benefits from a more subtle methodology that is sensitive to these differences of product and process. The chapter explores collaboration between higher education institutions (HEIs) and small, medium and micro-sized enterprises (SMMEs) in the creative and cultural industries (CCI) within London; it draws upon research carried out as part of Creativeworks London’s (CWL) Creative Voucher Scheme. The findings indicate that collaborations benefit significantly from active intermediaries who facilitate, as well as embed themselves within, these collaborations by doing three things: brokerage, translation and network builder. Critically, a proportion of this work is done informally and based on maintaining trust and reputation.

This article explores the concept of transdisciplinarity as a cultural endeavor. It centers on the concept of transdisciplinary hermeneutics, as a form of contextualizing science in the framework of cultural ideas, subjective experiences of the researchers involved in the research process, and of imagination and the artful creation of possible new realities. The concept is rooted in the work of Basarab Nicolescu and the Paris based CIRET, the " Centre International de Recherches et Études Transdisciplinaires. " In this approach, reality is seen as complex and multilayered, and cannot be known only through the lens of modern science. Philosophy, art and subjective experience are essential and complementary ways of knowledge production that provide context to scientific knowledge, giving it meaning and perspective. To be able to engage in transdisciplinary hermeneutics, researchers need to complement cognitive knowing with embodied and enacted knowing. They as well need to combine the formal and science-based language of what is seen and measured, with the poetic, polyphonic and metaphorical language of what is unseen but sensed, felt and envisioned. The article finally sketches the importance of two competencies that transdisciplinary researchers need to acquire, the competencies of mindfulness and of transdisciplinary dialogue of knowledges.

Business strategy is fundamentally concerned with the actions required to create superior customer value in the firm's target markets with the ultimate goal of achieving superior performance. Marketing theory suggests that two critical marketing activities required to achieve this end are: (1) the adoption of appropriate strategic behaviors (i.e., customer-oriented, competitor-oriented, technologyoriented) and (2) targeting of the appropriate market segments (i.e., innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority, laggards). This study builds on prior research which demonstrates that the strategic behavior-firm performance relationship is contingent on the firm's strategy by examining this relationship in high tech markets and by considering the incremental contribution of appropriate target market selection. Responses from 160 senior marketing managers in hightech firms reveal strong support for our framework. Thus, this study provides useful guidance to executives and managers in high-tech firms regarding the steps that they should take to increase their probability of success.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between broad and select narrow personality traits and knowledge sharing behavior of employees in workplace. This study especially contributes to literature of personality by uncovering the unexplored affective states in the context of knowledge sharing behavior. Sample was drawn by using simple random sampling without replacement technique. To test the hypotheses, correlation, regression and bootstrap mediation procedures were applied to the sample data. Testing a sample of 274 university teachers, significant associations were found between big five traits, proactive personality, creative self-efficacy, and knowledge sharing behavior. Openness to experience, conscientiousness, agreeableness, extraversion, proactive personality and creative self-efficacy were positively related to knowledge sharing behavior, whereas, neuroticism was negatively related to knowledge sharing behavior in workplace. The relationship between extraversion, agreeableness and creative self-efficacy was partially mediated by positive affect and the relationship between neuroticism and knowledge sharing behavior was partially mediated by negative affect. In conclusion, members of organizations, at all levels, should be trained to manage their emotions and affective reactions intelligently to share knowledge effectively and gain maximum benefits from knowledge based assets. In addition, organizational tasks must be assigned to employees with suitable narrow or broad personality traits to maximize the performance level. All the sophisticated, scientific and technical works requiring high level of knowledge sharing should not be assigned to neurotic workers. However, agreeable, extrovert, conscientious and open individuals may handle all knowledge sharing activities effectively. It is also suggested that the works requiring scientific innovation and creativity could better be performed by people high in creative self-efficacy, whereas, knowledge works requiring manual dexterity like technology transfer, industry academia linkages and knowledge based networking can best be done by proactive people.

It is not possible to speak of a single systems approach. There are rather of a number of systems approaches, each loosely drawing on different aspects of a family composed mainly of, general system theory, cybernetics, information theory, chaos theory, and complexity theory. Systems approaches have been used in most of the social sciences, particularly sociology and management, but their use has extended into the arts and humanities.Creativity researchers have used systems approaches drawing on very different sources and in very different ways. The main focus has been to highlight creativity as a phenomenon that occurs in the context of multiple systems, and therefore involves a network of interactions.

Vorwort: Ziel dieses Projektes ist es, zwei miteinander verflochtene Fragen, die für das Über-leben und für die Entwicklung der Menschheit von fundamentaler Bedeutung sind, in den Vordergrund zu stellen. Die eine Frage ist die, ob das, was wir Fortschritt nennen, möglicher-weise so hektisch und so zufällig ist, daß die Völker der Welt äußerst irritiert und zusammen auf die Wellen der Veränderung reagieren, die der Fortschritt im positiven wie im negativen Sinne verursacht. Da sie sich der Veränderungen, die sie an ihrer Umwelt und an ihren Lebensbedingungen vor-nehmen, nicht bewußt sind, wird der Zwiespalt zwischen Mensch und realer Welt immer grö-ßer. Diesen Zwiespalt bezeichnen wir als das menschliche Dilemma. Die zweite Frage ist, ob die gegenwärtig sichtbaren Tendenzen unter Kontrolle gebracht und das Dilemma überwunden werden kann, bevor der Homo sapiens einem grotesken Schicksal hilflos ausgeliefert sein wird. Um diese Frage positiv beantworten zu können, muß man davon ausgehen, daß der Mensch über noch unzureichend genutzte visionäre und kreative Fähig-kei-ten sowie über eine moralische Kraft verfügt, die, wenn sie freigesetzt werden, die Mensch-heit aus ihrer mißlichen Lage befreien können. Wir alle müssen lernen, unsere verborgenen Kräfte zu wecken und sie in Zukunft sinnvoll und umsichtig zu nutzen. Und zögernd begannen wir uns zu fragen, ob es der Menschheit nicht trotz allen Wissens an Klugheit fehle. Es entwickelte sich das, was der Club of Rome als weltweite Problematik bezeichnet hat. Während die Menschheit sich scheinbar weiterentwickelt, verliert sie in Wirklichkeit an Bo-den und durchläuft eine kulturelle, geistige und ethische, wenn nicht gar existenz-bedrohende Phase des Abstiegs wobei sich das Dilemma gefährlich vergrößert. Ausdiesen Gründen ist dieses Lernprojekt zeitgemäß und könnte, wenn es Erfolg hat, zu ei-nem Meilenstein werden. Der Club of Rome eröffnete 1972 einen Zyklus mit der provokati-ven Darstellung der äußeren Grenzen, die die Möglichkeiten des materiellen Wachstums auf unserem begrenzten Planeten einschränken. Er schließt diesen Zyklus nun mit der Erörterung der freien inneren Spielräume, die in uns selbst existieren und Möglichkeiten zu ungeahnten Entwicklungen beinhalten. 1. Einführung-Analyse und Prognose der veränderten Lebensbedingungen des Menschen Ein nie gekanntes Ausmaß der Selbstverwirklichung ist ebenso möglich wie eine unvorstell-bare Katastrophe. Was tatsächlich geschehen wird, hängt jedoch von einem anderen wesentli-chen-ja entscheidenden-Faktor ab: vom Verständnis und Verhalten des Menschen.

In the study described in this paper, the role of technology in organizational learning and performance, and collaborative platforms’ contributions on improving organizational performance are explored. The paper also mentions major types of collaborative tools and platforms used for organizational performance improvement. This study investigates the possible contributions of the usage of technology together with appropriate collaborative strategy to the organizational learning and performance improvement.

There is no proper definition about knowledge management; however it can be defined as an approach that is used by the organizations to achieve their objectives with the best utilization of knowledge (Levinson). It is basically a concept in which the enterprise focuses on gathering, organizing, sharing and analyzing its knowledge in different forms like documents, resources and its skilled people. Most of the organizations generate values from its knowledge and intellectual assets. The generation of values involves codifying what the employees and customers know. Moreover, the same information is shared among the enterprise to share knowledge so as to device new knowledge management practices. In knowledge management, the main goal is to push information to people and that involves some processes like data mining. There are a few components of knowledge management that are used by the organizations and enterprises. It is used to generate new knowledge for organizations. Moreover, the knowledge that is accessible from outside sources is also utilized in decision making (Rouse, 2013). The knowledge gained from inside or outside resources is embedded with the products and the processes in organizations. Knowledge gained in one part of the organization must be shared with other parts of the organization. Knowledge management system is important for managers as it helps them in locating the specific knowledge required for specific business processes. Knowledge management is important for organizations in a number of ways. Most of the Businessmen and economists have declared it as the biggest advantage to the modern firms (Levinson). It helps in utilizing the knowledge of the firm and taking further decisions. It is helpful in accelerating the speed of change in organizations. Global interaction of the organization with other organizations has also increased with the help of knowledge management. The intensity of knowledge goods is also increased. Here are few examples of usage of knowledge management in different organizations. An organization that has a database for getting feedback from its employees and its customer benefits from it by gathering knowledge from them. In this way, every customer and employees of the organization will provide its feedback and that information will be shared with other departments like research and development department.

The world needs to reduce its dependency on fossil fuel (non-renewable energy) as it is fast depleting and due to the harmful impact to the environment – most notably ‘Climate Change’. Therefore, Green Technology now becomes an even greater significance. We expect that academic scientists, leading engineers, industry researchers and scholar students would exchange and share their experiences and discuss research results on how we can survive and sustain in the future with green technology. The issues are not only about developing technologies, but also how to manage them properly in order to gain maximum benefit for the societies.

This volume contains papers accepted to The 3rd International Conference on Technology and Operations Management (ICTOM 2012) which themed Sustaining Competitiveness through Green Technology Management. The conference was held in East Hall – ITB and SBM-ITB (School of Business and Management – ITB) on July 4-6, 2012.

Nowadays, the entire world is experiencing very complex and chaotic economic situations. Despite the global economic slowdown, it is very encouraging for us to receive over than one hundred submissions from various countries, and accept less than three-fourth submitted papers written by one hundred forty-eight authors for oral presentation to share their knowledges. We are also very grateful for the acceptance of keynote speakerships by well-known senior researchers and international as well as regional practicioners in Technology and Operations Management discipline specifically in Green Technology Management area.

ICTOM 2012 was organized by SBM-ITB, especially Operations and Performance Management (OPM) Interest Group. This conference shows our third collaboration with the esteemed College of Business – Universiti Utara Malaysia. We have been successfully organized the previous conferences at West Hall ITB in 2006 and at Langkawi, Malaysia in 2010.

We hope that this 3rd scientific meeting forum could contribute to introduce and promote Technology and Operations Management especially in Indonesia, to open the way for possible collaboration between local and international academicians and practitioners to promote ITB, in particular SBM-ITB, as a world class university and as the leading higher institution in the field of technology and operations management.

From cross comparison viewpoint, this study has been designed with the objectives of: first, to explore the key influential aspects of CRM and second, to identify and critically discuss the current trends of CRM adoption. Tesco and Sainsbury's are two major retailers in the United Kingdom and taking these as the case studies. This mixed method study has employed the in depth interview techniques with the use of semi-structured questions. Major retailers in the United Kingdom have been adopting strategies and policies of customer relationship management. Results have indicated that, effective CRM can influences positively and thus to ensure business growth and profitability. The Loyalty Card holders of both Tesco and Sainsbury's do not frequently shop at other retailers, responsiveness is the key factor for effective CRM, and newsletters sent to the customers are the most reliable way for information sharing.
