As is the case with many other PhD projects, this has been a long journey. To explain where the journey ended, it might be important to mention, first, that the scholarly disciplines I have been engaged with in my thesis reflect, in many ways, the institutions that I have been affiliated with. Starting out with the humanities, in the form of a BA in musicology and an MA in Culture and Communication from Copenhagen University, I have been influenced by these disciplines in the way that I understand how socio-cultural structures are formed and developed. Presentación En el marco del Acuerdo 592, por medio del cual se establece la Articulación de la Educación Básica, así como del Acuerdo 593 que señala los programas de estudio de la asignatura de Tecnología para la educación secundaria, la Secretaría de Educación Pública ha consolidado una propuesta de libros de texto, a partir de un nuevo enfoque centrado en la participación de los alumnos en su proceso de aprendizaje y en el desarrollo de las competencias básicas para la vida y el trabajo. Especialmente en el contexto de la Telesecundaria, el libro de texto se complementa con las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC), con los objetos digitales de aprendizaje, los materiales y equipos audiovisuales e informáticos que, junto con las bibliotecas escolares, representan el soporte pedagógico de los niños mexicanos en su proceso de adquisición del conocimiento escolarizado. Esta nueva generación de libros de texto para Telesecundaria responde al principio de mejora continua, por lo que ha puesto atención en el replanteamiento de las cargas de contenido para centrarse en estrategias innovadoras para el trabajo escolar, incentiva habilidades orientadas al aprovechamiento de distintas fuentes de información, busca que los estudiantes adquieran habilidades para aprender de manera autónoma incentivando el uso intensivo de la tecnología informática. Asimismo, con la intención de dar continuidad a la propuesta editorial iniciada en los libros de texto de primaria, en este libro se ha fortalecido la línea editorial que promueve una lectura integral capaz de interpretar tanto el discurso textual como el visual. Se ha incluido en sus páginas una muestra representativa de géneros y técnicas plásticas, así como propuestas iconográfi cas que no sólo complementan el contenido textual, sino lo enriquecen y conforman por sí mismos una fuente de información para el alumno.

En el libro: Bolivia: atreverse a interpretarla (2018), Don Pedro había señalado que los aymaras actualizan constantemente su identidad, sin perder su núcleo civilizatorio, y así en los últimos tiempos habrían desarrollado un individualismo productivista muy vigoroso, que coexistiría con antiguas concepciones colectivistas. Este desarrollo no puede ser entendido adecuadamente por las corrientes marxistas, que en el ámbito andino han mostrado definitivamente su naturaleza retrógrada y su incapacidad de entender modos de producción y sistemas sociales no previstos por el Padre Fundador Karl Marx.

Simple Summary: According to Directive 2010/63/EU, project proposals involving experiments on animals have to be approved in a harm-benefit-analysis (HBA) that weighs the potential benefits of the experiment against the harm inflicted on animals. Only if the benefit outweighs the harm, will the project be approved. However, it is unclear what counts as a valid benefit. In this paper, we analyze the underlying premises of the HBA and its consequences for the project evaluation process. We come to the conclusion that knowledge, as such, is considered a low benefit and that only knowledge applied to benefit society, e.g., new cancer treatment or potent vaccine, etc., is considered to be a high benefit. However, we demonstrate that benefit of this kind cannot be assessed prospectively for research proposals due to the inherent uncertainties of research and the difficulty of determining extra-scientific factors that are crucial for the generation of societal benefit. As a consequence, we advocate a reevaluation of current project evaluation and propose to develop an alternative model for project evaluation. Abstract: Directive 2010/63/EU (henceforth "Directive") on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes mandates that every project proposal in EU member states involving procedures on living non-human vertebrates and cephalopods has to be approved in an review process, including a harm-benefit-analysis (HBA), to assess "whether the harm to the animals in terms of suffering, pain and distress is justified by the expected outcome taking into account ethical consideration and may ultimately benefit human beings, animals or the environment". Despite the justifying relevance of "outcome" and "benefit", it remains unclear how to understand these concepts. However, national authorities and applicants require a clear understanding of this to carry out a HBA. To analyze the underlying premises of the HBA and its consequences for the evaluation process, we introduce a heuristic to analyze the relation between "outcome", "benefit" and "prospective benefit assessment". We then apply the heuristic to all seven legitimate purposes for animal research stated in the Directive, namely basic research, translational or applied research, product safety, education and training, protection of the environment, preservation of species and forensic inquiries. As we show, regardless of which purpose is aimed for, applicants are hard-pressed to demonstrate tangible benefits in a prospective assessment. In the HBA, this becomes a problem since-as we argue-the only reasonable, expected and tangible outcome of research can ever be knowledge. The potential long-term benefits on the basis of gained knowledge are unforeseeable and impossible to predict. Research is bound to fall short of these proclaimed societal benefits and its credibility will suffer as long as research has to validate itself through short-term societal benefit. We propose to revise the ethical evaluation based on the HBA and we think it necessary to develop an alternative model for project evaluation that focuses on the value of knowledge as a scientific outcome as a necessary but not sufficient condition for societal benefit.

Todas las herramientas de trabajo son indispensables para el trazo de las plantillas base, transformaciones y elaboración de patrones. CINTA METRICA: Dentro del departamento de diseño, trazo y elaboración de patrones no puede faltar la cinta métrica. Su uso es en la toma de medidas, aunque se tengan tablas de tallas donde se encuentran medidas correctas, el diseñador en este caso al lanzar a vuelo la imaginación para su nueva creación, con frecuencia considera diferentes medidas que practica en un maniquí o en un cuerpo tipo, para consolidar su idea. Pero la cinta métrica no sólo es necesaria en este departamento, sino en todas las áreas de trabajo. Dentro del departamento de confección se puede utilizar en cualquier momento. GREDAS PARA MARCAR: La greda es un tipo de marcador que se utiliza para delinear los contornos de los patrones sobre la tela, cuando se van a elaborar las muestras; también durante el proceso de confección las costureras en ocasiones tienen la necesidad de usarla para centrar piezas cuando no se pueden hacer piquetes con la cortadora. PERFORADORA: Este accesorio generalmente se utiliza para perforar todos los moldes que conforman un diseño y agruparlos mediante un listón o una agujeta. Esto se hace para llevar un control en el perchero del departamento de corte y no existan pérdidas de piezas. AGUJAS PARA MODISTA: Las agujas siempre se necesitan en el departamento de diseño cuando se perforan las prendas, aunque en el departamento de confección en algún momento se recurre a ellas. PAPEL: El papel es igualmente de importante que las reglas, tijeras y alfileres. Es donde se plasman los trazos y los patrones. Many study programs include courses on communication technology. All these courses explain the basis of communication technology, but they have different levels in detail depending on the study program and the related organization. Several courses include experimental activities and some of these are based on certification related to a network device manufacturer. This article is based on the experience at the University of Stavanger (Norway), where two bachelor-level courses based on the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are offered. This article generalizes the outcome from this experience and aims to provide a guideline to create similar courses in different study programs. This article will address the course syllabus, the laboratory activity, and the examination by giving some bestpractice suggestions.
