El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo principal analizar las relaciones que se establecen entre la literatura y el cine en cuanto al proceso de adaptación cinematográfica y de qué manera se pueden plantear estrategias que permitan trabajar el cine y la literatura en el aula partiendo del desarrollo de una propuesta pedagógica dirigida a docentes. Por este motivo se desarrollaron cuatro capítulos que dieran cuenta de los conceptos que se consideraron fundamentales para el desarrollo de la presente propuesta, por esta razón el primer capítulo se elaboró entorno al concepto de literatura e imagen poética de una parte y, de otra lo concerniente al cine y al lenguaje cinematográfico para identificar sus aspectos en común con la literatura y lo propio de cada uno de estos lenguajes. En cuanto al segundo capítulo se abordó la adaptación de obras literarias al cine para observar y analizar las implicaciones que este ejercicio conlleva. En este sentido se tomaron como referentes obras de destacados directores como Stanley Kubrick, Elia Kazan y Volker Schlöndorff  y del contexto colombiano obras como el amor en los tiempos del cólera y propuestas cinematográficas de Andrés Caicedo. Para articular el tercer capítulo se analizó lo que implica la elaboración de un guión cinematográfico, reconociendo también los aspectos propios de la escritura de un guión y los elementos que en él construyen y comunican sentido.
Finalmente; en el cuarto capítulo se presentó la propuesta pedagógica que surgió de la reflexión y estudio de los aspectos mencionados en los capítulos precedentes y de la experiencia llevada a cabo con los estudiantes, la cual buscó observar no solo la viabilidad del proyecto sino también el impacto del mismo. Para ello se abordaron los conceptos planteados por Delia Lerner de propósito didáctico y propósito comunicativo que impactan directamente las secuencias de actividades realizadas. Las conclusiones más determinantes del trabajó que se realizó fueron: en primer, lugar evidenciar que es posible darle el verdadero estatus tanto a la literatura y al cine más allá de meros instrumentos para genera procesos de aprendizaje o llenar espacios vacíos de una clase y esto es posible en la medida que los estudiantes encuentren el placer de leer literatura y cine. De otra parte, el hecho de quedar en evidencia que la propuesta es viable y si puede ser contemplada como una reflexión para los docentes, puesto que si brinda elementos que permiten una reflexión de lo que significa emplear el cine en un aula de clases, dejando a un lado la utilización del cine como mero instrumento, y generando el espacio de reflexión sobre el lenguaje cinematográfico que debería habitar constantemente las prácticas docentes y no ser un vitado pretexto -esporádico. En cuanto a los hallazgos, uno de los más significativos sin duda fue descubrir que el invitar a los estudiantes a leer literatura con la intención de crear a partir de la evocación, posibilita que los estudiantes reconozcan su potencia evocadora al crear un universo en sus mentes.

Nation States conceptualized intellectual property regimes traditionally for the benefit of human creators and inventors. The transactional arrangements emanating from these regimes resulted in symbiotic outcomes between society and the human creators or innovators. The copyright regime will be the principal focus of this paper. This paper sets out to explore whether the developing economies of the Global South have the overall jurisprudential and infrastructural capacities to adapt to the inevitable Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) interventions in the creative spaces of their film industries, including seeking a jurisprudential balance that may accommodate their unique cultural creativity. It further seeks to examine and analyze the significance of AI and its interrelatedness with the creative industrial sectors of the Global South as an economic and developmental force. The paper uses the Nigerian film industry-Nollywood as the focus of discussion. The potential collision of the existing legal orthodoxy of creative ownership and inventive rights, with the novel AI legal rights will be central to this discussion. Soon after Nigeria's independence from Britain, her film industry had impactful presence, but it was in the early 1990s that its sociocultural influence and global economic effectiveness crystalized. Nollywood, the Nigerian film industry has since been a commercial success and transcendent. It has become an agency of transnational cultural trade and commerce. Nollywood is the third largest film industry in the world behind Hollywood in the United States, and Bollywood in India. Recently, Nigeria amended its copyright law to recognize the digital creative outcomes that have been in existence especially in Europe and other Western industrialized societies. However, amending its copyright law may not be enough to insulate Nigerian filmmakers and other artistic creators from the legal and economic conundrum of the AI. The resulting legal tensions reverberate in recent lawsuits between copyright owners-authors and AI creators. The AI (creative) creations' scope and boundaries in (creative) IP-derivative doctrines and copyright laws of exemptions may implicate the legal rights of the Nigerian filmmaker.

This study presents a deep look into how literary sources can be depicted, directly and indirectly, and adapted to the silver screen. In cinema, language is used as a tool to create and reflect identity; and examine culture, history and society. In this paper, we will elaborate on the connection between language and identity, with references to multiple studies and research. A great deal of work in this context is also being done to represent the identity of some minority groups in referring to language and cinema. This paper discusses films based in the northeast of India: 'Mary Kom' (2014) and 'Axone' (2019). The study investigates how these films contribute to understanding the region's linguistic and cultural diversity. Looking at how Northeastern languages are represented in Hindi films; the matter has been seen as symptomatic of linguistic identities. Additionally, they examine how dialects or accents often add authenticity to content and help bridge cultural nuances. This article focuses on the promotion of linguistic and cultural syncretism that has been attained through Hindi films in Northeast India.

The article talks about the creation by the director Konstantin Konstantinovich Pipinashvili of his first film “Kajana” (1941). İnsanın varoluşunun konumlandığı yer olarak tanımlanabilen mekân, edebiyatta önemli bir yer arz etmektedir. Roman, gerçek veya gerçeğe uygun yazılmış olay ve hikayeleri anlatan bir metin türüdür. Bu metin türü için mekân oldukça önemlidir. Söz konusu olay ve hikayelerin gelişim sürecine büyük bir etkisi vardır. Mekân, romanda karakterlerin kimi zaman kendini özgür ve rahat hissettiği kimi zaman tutsak hissettiği mekanlardır. Her karaktere ve olayın işleyişine göre mekân algısı değişiklik göstermektedir. Romanın karakterine bağlı mekân algısı da değişir. Bu çalışmada da Anthony Burgess’in yazınsal, Stanley Kubrick’in görsel bağlamında ‘Otomatik Portakal’ adlı eserlerinde ‘Tedavi Merkezi’ adlı mekân disiplinler arası yöntem ile incelenecektir. Karşılaştırmalı bir çalışma olduğu için karşılaştırmalı edebiyat tarihinden ve inceleme yöntemi olan disiplinler arası yönteminden bahsedilecektir. Mekân kavramı açıklanacak ve mekânın alt başlıklarına değinilecektir. İncelenecek eser distopik bir eser olduğu için distopya kavramı da açıklanacaktır.  Söz konusu romanın ana karakteri olan Alex, şiddet bağımlısı bir genç iken, tedavi merkezinde aldığı tedavi sonrasında farklı bir insana dönüşür. Bu çalışmada hedeflenen, tedavi merkezinin karakter üzerine nasıl bir etki bıraktığı, tedaviden önce ve sonra mekân algısının nasıl değişebileceği amaçlanmaktadır. Eserlerin biri görsel biri yazınsal bağlamında iki farklı disiplin kullanılmaktadır. Bu sebeple disiplinler arası yöntem uygun görülmüştür.

In *American Beauty*, the use of **red** symbolizes desire, obsession, and danger, creating strong emotional reactions. *Roma*, with its monochromatic **black-and-white** palette, focuses on light and shadow to evoke nostalgia and emphasize class contrasts without the distraction of color. In contrast, *Amélie* uses a vibrant palette of **green, yellow, and red** to establish a whimsical, fairy-tale world, making the audience associate colors with warmth, wonder, and emotional vibrancy.

In the mid-1950s, film sealed its place in the world of art with the voice of essentialist theories. At the same time, it did not give up its status as mass entertainment, which it had acquired at the beginning of cinematography’s development. Over the years, it has also developed its position as an educational medium, and its importance and impact on culture created the need for film studies. And although knowledge of film and cinematography is being introduced to school curricula, not only in Poland, the negative view that film is purely for entertainment purposes still prevails. Focusing on the subject outlined, the article refers to the results of research on film knowledge among children and young people, and on the cultural choices (using data on film choices) of parents and caregivers, to analyze the place and role of film in children’s and young people’s development.

Purpose:

To provide documentation on actions occurring 30 December 2023 by Allied forces engaging against Axis forces outside of unidentified village in the German countryside. The engagement began at 2300 hours and was estimated to run approximately sixty minutes in duration.

Through interdisciplinary research involving education and cinema, the article aims to analyze the narrative of the film Central Station (1998), directed by Walter Salles, and identify elements for teaching three-act narratives in a script. The research is classified as descriptive and documentary, with a qualitative approach, and uses the film analysis technique. The main result was the realization that the practice of teaching scripts, from the cinema itself, is an essential issue to encourage discussions, deepen studies and instigate creative ideas. It is also found that Central Station is not a film that only allows the teaching of three-act narrative, but also promotes discussions in the most different spheres, whether to issues related to the Brazilian social scene, senior people, and their relationship with work, culture, and national folklore.

Film festivals reflect trends, and they directly or indirectly opt for innovation in all areas. This is the case with the use of innovative narrative techniques and formats, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, immersive reality, 360˚, and the latest one, the metaverse. There are a few exclusive events and experiences on this topic that are worth highlighting. In the case of the metaverse at film festivals, a new factor has emerged: technology companies. They see festivals as a space for business and promotion. This chapter analyses pioneering experiences in the use of metaverse techniques at film festivals, tries to differentiate these techniques from all the previous ones, and to discover whether this is really a future trend or a passing fad.

This study aims to explore the interplay between environmental psychology, architecture, and cinema in shaping cinematic spaces through spatial analysis. It also endeavors to provide insight into dystopian urban and spatial designs influenced by environmental psychology concepts, ultimately impacting the quality of these fictional environments. Examining the pivotal era of heightened interest in environmental psychology studies, particularly in understanding the reciprocal dynamics between physical surroundings and human behavior, the 1973 dystopian film "Soylent Green" was scrutinized using deductive methodology. The analysis focused on key elements such as personal space and its role in shaping self-esteem experiences, the diverse and intense activities within the behavioral environment, as well as obligations and privacy concerns in densely populated, spatially-defined settings. The findings indicate that cinema and architecture extend beyond their temporal and spatial dimensions, revealing a profound integration with living spaces and a diverse array of life experiences. Furthermore, it underscores how spatial behavior and environmental information exchange in cinematic environments are intricately linked to emotional responses and societal advancements.
