— A new flexibly reconfigurable hardware architecture for speeding Motor vehicles performance and scope are discussed. This paper presents the major impediments in automatically sensing and alerting of speed bumps or any obstructer lay on the highway roads. It provides an additional level of driver assistance, leading to improved safety for passengers and vehicles. By alerting about the presence of road bumps would reduce risks in situations of driving distraction, fatigue, poor sight and weather conditions. In this paper we try to develop an ASA system to provide the prior to accident information to the vehicle control unit so that it enables the vehicle to prevent the happening of accident. During the vehicle movements the system will continuously record the vehicle's moving. An Automatic speed control unit is also been incorporated in the vehicle such that speed control is maintained in case of rash driving. The new vehicle performance has been continuously improved and the study results relating to the safety of car driving have also been continuously reported and demonstrated.

Dredging is the sub aqueous or underwater excavation of rocks and soil. The purpose of this research is to  analyze the present volume of dredging in India and to identify the actual requirement of dredging volume and the dredging fleet in India. The first phase of the study involves the identification of actual amount of capital and maintenance dredging being undertaken in India and the present available fleet of dredgers in the Public and private sector. The second phase involves the study on how various players get into this business and the final phase involves possible strategic methods of improving the capacity and meeting the dredging requirement. A possible alliance between the dredging majors with the help of govt. policies aiming in capacity creation for undertaking commercial dredging activities are also presented.

We present here the experimental approach, specific to large strain measurements. The proposed method is based on in-plane kinematics measurements using an optical extensometer. The whole two-dimensional field of in-plane displacements is obtained by a digital image processing. We discuss then the correlation calculations and how to achieve the optimal subset matching. Next, we specify how to derive the principal stretch ratios, and the accuracy on these components, issued from a subsequent numerical calibration.

Large experiments on distributed infrastructures become increasingly complex to manage, in particular to trace all computations that gave origin to a piece of data or an event such as an error. The work presented in this paper describes the design and implementation of an architecture to support experiment provenance and its deployment in the concrete case of a particular e-infrastructure for biosciences. The proposed solution consists of: (a) a data provenance repository to capture scientific experiments and their execution path; (b) a software tool (crawler) that gathers, classifies, links, and stores the information collected from various sources; and (c) a set of user interfaces through which the end-user can access the provenance data, interpret the results, and trace the sources of failure. The approach is based on an OPM-compliant API, PLIER, that is flexible to support future extensions and facilitates interoperability among heterogeneous application systems.

Oxidative stress is the result of overproduction of reactive oxygen species in relation to antioxidant defense levels. Physiological oxidative stress a priori exists in the women and men, but with an excess of radical compounds, it can acquire a pathological character.

Oxidative stress may contribute to aging and several diseased states affecting female and male reproduction. Endothelial dysfunction secondary to oxidative stress contributes to the development of obstetric complications such as early and recurrent pregnancy loss, preeclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction, and preterm labor. Reactive oxygen and nitrogen species can negatively affect embryo implantation and may influence the development of reproductive disorders such as endometriosis and preeclampsia. Altered vasomotor functions have been demonstrated by failed embryo implantation and reduced placental perfusion in preeclampsia and endometriosis.

The effects of free radicals on oocytes, sperm, and embryos have been implicated in poor reproductive outcomes in assisted reproductive techniques. The in vitro environment subjects gametes and embryos to an abundance of reactive oxygen species in the absence of enzymatic antioxidant defenses that are normally present during in vivo fertilization and pregnancy. Ideally, assisted reproductive techniques success may be attained if in vivo conditions are sufficiently imitated. To this effect, several studies have shown that antioxidants and vitamines may improve pregnancy outcomes. D-chiro-inositol (DCI) is one of such promising substances. It increases fertility due to the ovulation restoration in patients with polycystic ovaries syndrome, improves the oocytes quality, reduces oxidative and inflammatory stress, that is increases the conception probability including in assisted reproductive technologies. This gave impetus to the active inositol preparations use in the clinics of assisted reproductive technologies to obtain good quality oocytes, and reduce the hormones dose used in ovaries stimulation.

The aim of the study, the results of which are described in the article, was to study the possibilities of using a polycomponent drug containing D-kiro-inositol in the polycystic ovarian syndrome.

A comparative prospective study was conducted with the participation of 60 patients of reproductive age suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome (phenotype A). The criteria for participation in the study were: a confirmed diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome with ovarian enlargement and oligo/anovulation and a raised level of ovarian androgens; body mass index from 26 to 30 kg/m2. Patients with severe endocrine and somatic pathology were excluded from the study.

Women aged 18–35 years were on out-patient treatment in the Endocrine gynecology department of the SI “Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the NAMS of Ukraine”. By random sampling, the patients were divided into 2 groups of 30 people each. For 6 months, the patients of the main group received twice a day 1 Protalis complex drug containing D-kiroinositol, which is recommended for normalization of ovarian function and stimulation of spontaneous ovulation in polycystic ovarian syndrome, improvement of oocyte state, and also to promote reduction of oxidative and inflammatory stress, reducing the level of total testosterone and increasing fertility. Patients of the control group received recommendations on dietary nutrition and exercise.

Analysis of the results of therapy showed a recovery in the main group of regular ovulatory menstrual cycles in 53.33% of cases, a decrease in the frequency of androgen-dependent dermatopathy by 50%, normalization of body weight and a reliable decrease in androgen levels. In addition, a positive effect on metabolic parameters such as HOMA index and homocysteine level was noted.

The results of the study allow us to recommend the use of Protalis course therapy (D-kiro-inositol and synergists) to restore ovulatory menstrual cycles, and as a means of preventing metabolic disorders in women with polycystic ovarian syndrome and overweight.

For several years, various national and international institutions have joined forces to conserve the Peruvian Amazon forests through a sustainable development approach. Therefore, some activities and meetings have taken place within the framework of the Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI). But what does this declaration include? How it all started With more than half of its territory covered by forests, Peru has the second largest Amazon extension in the world and one of the five largest, and best preserved biodiverse tropical forests on the planet. It is also estimated that the territory hosts more than 350 thousand individuals from indigenous peoples, including populations in isolation and uncontacted or initial contact ones. However, all this diversity and tropical ecosystems, known as the Amazon, are at risk due to climate change, high deforestation rates and soil degradation. It is estimated that 118,000 hectares are deforested each year, which contributes to greenhouse gases (GHG) emission and, therefore, an increase in the planet's temperature. It is because of this that several initiatives are taking place to conserve the Amazon forests and achieve a sustainable development of the region. One of these initiatives is the established partnership between Norway, Germany and Peru which aims to significantly to reduce GHG emissions in the Peruvian Amazon. "We will move from good intentions to deeds" is one among many statements the signatories made because, to date, the commitments in most international conventions had not been backed by concrete actions. The document envisages respecting the rights and purposes of indigenous communities by increasing to 5 million hectares the areas entitled to them. Also, to include at least 2 million hectares as way of payment for the conservation efforts. This is why, a large part of the donation is aimed at facilitating the titling of indigenous communities' territories in the San Martin and Ucayali regions. This paper also sealed the direct involvement of the Peruvian State to collaborate with the implementation of projects related to REDD+ and the sustainable development of the Amazon. All this, through its Forest Program and the Servicio Nacional Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre-SERFOR (National Forest and Wildlife Service).
