The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the State Anger Subscale of Spielberger using a sample of Turkish undergraduate students aged 18 to 31 years. The scale’s reliability and validity were assessed by examining its internal consistency, factor analytic structure, concurrent, and construct validity. Supporting the validity of the scale, one factor structure underlying the original form was replicated. A statistically significant relation between the State Trait Anger Expression Inventory and the Novaco Anger Scale was also found. Regarding construct validity, an experimental manipulation using anger induction and imagination revealed a significant difference between experimental and control group. Overall, the findings indicate that the State Anger Subscale is a reliable and valid assessment tool for research and clinical practice to identify angry people in Turkey. In order to study parental socialization (Styles) cross-culturally, it is necessary to understand the different styles of parenting in culture throughout the world, also the effects of culture's variables on parenting styles. The research discusses this notion through: definitions, specific theories and psychoanalysis for the theoretical framework. Then the study suggests a new type of socialization (parenting styles) as a result of the new global culture.

Objectives: The differential effects of playing violent video games on information processing have become an issue of concern. Neuropsychological studies provide inconsistent results regarding the effects of playing excessive video games on information processing. The goal of this study was to investigate the effect of violent video games on various cognitive processes, specifically working memory, object recognition, and visual-spatial perception. The relationships between violent video game addiction and aggression, personality, and craving were also investigated. Method: 54 university students were classified into three different groups (addicted, risk, and control) according to the time they spent game playing and their Game Addiction Scale scores. The objective of the following article is to consider the methodological option for developing a multidisciplinary approach concerned with already established intuitive behavior of using mobile technologies. Aligning methodologically to 21st century real life, digital fluidity is our compass-on-the-go by approaching life cycle didactics. The FIRST LIFE CYCLE has been focused on introducing the new 'immersive methodology'. This has been conveyed by the design and the start of a step-by-step procedure in two interdisciplinary BA Minor programs at NBU (Digital Humanities and Service Delivery Engineering). They both are focused on the dynamic intersection of technological and psychological multi-skills. The SECOND LIFE CYCLE is to expand methodologically and reach the mental dynamics of a Creative Lab. The THIRD LIFE CYCLE is to further the established infrastructure of "light project-based activities" between WSU and NBU students to the level of IMMERSIVE GAME TECHNOLOGY guided by their variously oriented lecturers where grown-up-digitally students and digitally migrated research fellows experience innovative cutting edge technologies and gain relevant philosophical insights. In this 'interdisciplinary infrastructure' an inherent place is provided to lecturers-representatives of global market players. Finally, all these lead to the natural acquisition of fine-tuned skills, while working in a team with different specialists, and being guided by experienced lecturers from NBU, TU Sofia, Western Sydney University and multinational companies like IBM, HPE / Micro Focus, Unify / Atos, Bosch Software Innovations. An additional methodological acquisition is the way students develop useful "social technologies" wherein emotional sensitivity and intuitive use are of particular importance. Thus both programs master a permanently aligning blended educational approach, combining traditional learning capstones with social networking models tailored for the growing target group of grown-up-digitally students. As a result, hybrid Minors at NBU become the "best practice" of testing a realistically developed educational model where outcomes and curriculum changes can always take place, being updated and upgraded whenever necessary.

  This study aims to analyze the process of changing spatial belongings of migrants’ generations. The First generation who moved out from Eastern and Southeastern of Turkey haven’t cut their communication with their hometown. On the contrary, they have built new belonging relations with the host culture. This is the exact opposite of the second generation. The second generation, who are children of the first generation, have built sense of belonging to İnegöl where they live. Also the second generation have prevented their parents from returning to their hometown. It shows that children and their parents have been living in the different worlds although they live in the same homes. This study has been conducted on migrants living in Huzur Neighborhood, İnegöl, Bursa. This study aims to investigate the relationship between personality trait (conscientiousness) and workplace deviant behaviour (WDB). Relationship between gender and marital status with workplace deviance behaviour were also examined. Workplace deviant behaviour, under its many labels and conceptualizations (counterproductive workplace behaviour, retaliatory behaviour, anti-citizenship behaviour) has become a major topic of research in the management and industrial organizational psychology literature. Data were collected from 162 subjects who were working as civil servants in Malaysia using a set of questionnaires that measure the variables studied. All participants in this study were selected randomly from employees of a public organization in Malaysia. Results show a negative relationship between conscientiousness and workplace deviant behaviour. This study could not found significant relationship between gender and marital status with workplace deviance behaviour. Implications for future research are discussed.

Aim: This investigation deals with burnout processes and the associated emotional experience patterns in professional educators. The importance of emotions is underlined by the fact that emotions changes the readiness to act (Frijda, 1986). Each emotion is connected with certain kinds of behavior (e.g. disgust with reject of an object or fear with avoidance). Just burnout processes from the educators’ emotional experience point of view become a significant role, because certain emotions are linked with the two most important stages in burnout processes, emotional exhaustion and depersonalization (Burisch, 2010). This study was aimed to examine social problems, thought problems, attention problems and defense mechanism styles in a sample of adolescents suffering from affective and anxiety problems. One hundred and thirty eight undergraduate students (53 males, 85 females) were included in this study and completed Defense Style Questionnaire (DSQ-40) in order to examine defense styles and Youth Self-report (YSR) for diagnosing affective and anxity problems. The results revealed that both affective problems and anxiety problems showed a significant association with social, thought and attention problems. Immature defense styles had a significantly association with affective problems and anxiety problems. It can be concluded that affective problems and anxiety problems have different effect on social, thought and attention problems and defense styles.

Last September, a combined Colombian national and Latin American regional conference were held in Armenia, Colombia. The Colombian Congress of Psychology and the First Regional Latin American Conference of Psychology were hosted by the Colombian College of Psychologists, and the Colombian Association of Faculties of Psychology, with support from the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS), the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP) and the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology. This was a landmark event in the history of Colombian psychology. There were more than 2200 participants, and over 1000 presentations in an intense agenda that combined a national, regional and international focus. Problem Statement; Job satisfaction is associated with positive outcomes at work and in certain other aspects of life. Job satisfaction is regarded as an important indicator to determine the levels of career success and accomplishment. The assertion that people are more likely to help identified as opposed to unidentified victims has not been investigated among secondary victims. This experimental study examined a) whether identifiability predicted changes in observers' sympathy for a secondary victim; b) whether sympathy for a single primary victim is transferred as helping behaviour to a secondary victim and c) whether sympathy mediated the relationship between identifiability and helping behaviour. The sample comprised 130 undergraduate students at a university in Kenya. Their age ranged from 20 to 24 years (M = 22.09). Data were collected using a questionnaire and analysed using SPSS 25. Significant gender differences in helping, significant differences in sympathy and helping by identifiability were found. Sympathy significantly mediated the influence of identifiability on helping.
