Transition

This study examines some of the ways institutional policies and practices can support or hinder the successful transition to post-secondary education for Indigenous people. Tracing the path from Indigenous high school student to post-secondary education applicant and utilizing knowledge gained from interviews, focus groups, and online surveys as part of an institutional ethnography approach, we offer recommendations for institutions and applicants to help increase enrollment and enhance the success of Indigenous post-secondary students. We share implications for institutions and post-secondary education applicants utilizing self-identification or cultural identity tracking.

Aim. To identify predictors of successful transition from undergraduate student to registered nurse and to identify whether any particular pre-registration paid employment choice impacted on transition. Background. Nursing students in Australia and internationally, engage in a variety of paid employment whilst completing their university studies. However, there is little empirical evidence about the different types of employment chosen by students and any relationship to graduate nurse transition. Design. A descriptive questionnaire survey. Method. This cross-sectional study was conducted with newly graduated nurses throughout Australia. The survey data were collected over 4 months in 2011, with 392 registered nurses completing a questionnaire. Results. Respondents were categorized into four groups, according to their chosen work type (hospitality/retail, enrolled nurse, other healthcare worker, and non-worker) and transition scores were identified. Transition scores were significantly higher for undergraduates who were employed compared with non-workers. Postregistration institutional work factors appeared to be stronger predictors of successful transition than pre-registration employment factors. Assistance in dealing with complex patients, orientation to a new environment, and respect from colleagues were the best predictors for successful transition. Conclusions. Engaging in some form of paid employment in the final year of undergraduate university study is beneficial. However, it is not pre-registration employment choice per se that is the best predictor of successful transition, but the influence of work factors which new graduates experience in their first year of practice.

The European Union (EU) has closely correlated different aspects of the peace process in Bosnia with progress towards European accession. The ‘power of attraction’ of EU membership would presumably induce the Bosnian authorities to accept the adaptation costs of political and economic transformation. However, the Europeanisation approach has not produced the expected results. The track record of the EU’s policies towards Bosnia represents a paradigmatic case of what would happen if almost nothing works as efficiently as in the case of the countries that joined the EU in 2004 and 2007. The article investigates the causes of EU policy failure in Bosnia and claims that the EU has not effectively responded to three challenges: 1) adjust the process to the needs of an ethnically divided post-war state; 2) preserve the credibility of accession conditionality, and 3) convey the proper messages on how to comply with EU rules. Therefore, the article argues for a more cohesive and consistent EU approach towards Bosnia.

The massacre of almost 50 Maidan protesters on February 20, 2014 was a turning point in Ukrainian politics and a tipping point in the conflict between the West and Russia over Ukraine. This mass killing of the protesters and the mass shooting of the police that preceded it led to the overthrow of the pro-Russian government of Viktor Yanukovych and gave a start to a civil war in Donbas in Eastern Ukraine, Russian military intervention in Crimea and Donbas, and an international conflict between the West and Russia over Ukraine. A conclusion promoted by the post-Yanukovych governments and the media in Ukraine that the massacre was perpetrated by government snipers and special police units on a Yanukovych order has been nearly universally accepted by the Western governments, the media, and many scholars. The Ukrainian government investigation identified members of the special company of Berkut as responsible for killings of the absolute majority of the protesters, but did not release any evidence in support, with the exception of videos of the massacre.
              The question is which side organized the “snipers’ massacre.” This paper is the first academic study of this crucial case of the mass killing. It uses a theory of rational choice and a Weberian theory of instrumental rationality to examine actions of major actors both from the Yanukovych government, specifically various police and security forces, and the Maidan opposition, specifically its far right and oligarchic elements, during the massacre.
          The paper analyzes a large amount of evidence from different publicly available sources concerning this massacre and killings of specifics protesters. Qualitative content analysis includes the following data: about 1,500 videos and recordings of live internet and TV broadcasts from mass media and social media in different countries(some 150 gigabytes), news reports and social media posts by more than 100 journalists covering the massacre from Kyiv, some 5,000 photos, and nearly 30 gigabytes of publicly available radio intercepts of snipers and commanders from the special Alfa unit of the Security Service of Ukraine and Internal Troops, and Maidan massacre trial recordings. This study also employs field research on site of the massacre, eyewitness reports by both Maidan protesters and government special units commanders, statements by both former and current government officials, estimates of approximate ballistic trajectories, bullets and weapons used, and types of wounds among both protesters and the police. This study establishes a precise timeline for various events of the massacre, the locations of both the shooters and the government snipers, and the specific timeline and locations of nearly 50 protesters’ deaths. It also briefly analyzes other major cases of violence during and after the “Euromaidan.” This study includes two video appendixes.
            This academic investigation concludes that the massacre was a false flag operation, which was rationally planned and carried out with a goal of the overthrow of the government and seizure of power. It found various evidence of the involvement of an alliance of the far right organizations, specifically the Right Sector and Svoboda, and oligarchic parties, such as Fatherland. Concealed shooters and spotters were located in at least 20 Maidan-controlled buildings or areas. The various evidence that the protesters were killed from these locations include some 70 testimonies, primarily by Maidan protesters, several videos of “snipers” targeting protesters from these buildings, comparisons of positions of the specific protesters at the time of their killing and their entry wounds, and bullet impact signs. The study uncovered various videos and photos of armed Maidan “snipers” and spotters in many of these buildings. The paper presents implications of these findings for understanding the nature of the change of the government in Ukraine, the civil war in Donbas, Russian military intervention in Crimea and Donbas, and an international conflict between the West and Russia over Ukraine.

Flow patterns and mass transfer rates in a periodically grooved channel were studied in the transitional flow regime. Self-sustained flow oscillations occur at a low Reynolds number. Primary flow instability arises from TollmienSchlichting waves triggered by a shear layer above the groove, and thus there is a fluid exchange between channel and groove parts through the shear layer. It is found that a further increase of the Reynolds number produces secondary instability causing a three-dimensional flow at the bottom of the groove. Mass transfer was performed by the electrochemical method. The transport rate at the rib increases significantly after the primary instability, but the increment of mass transfer at the bottom of the groove is small. The secondary instability leads to marked transport enhancement at the bottom of the groove. ©1998

We use the analogy of ecological succession as our conceptual framework. We apply this analogy to the history of foreign banks in Bulgaria and argue that the current predominance of foreign banks is unlikely to be permanent, even without government action. Foreign banks have entered Bulgaria several times-before World War I, again after that war, and after the fall of Communism in the early 1990s. The same source countries and even some of the same banks that were present before World War II or even World War I, reappear in the 1990s. Government concern with retaining control over credit limited the foreigners' role in the banking system. However, since 1997 the government has privatized almost all the major banks with the result that foreign banks now control over 80 per cent of the banking system's assets.

In this paper, an experimental investigation was conducted to study the effect of flow and transition parameters on the protection length downstream (DS) of the sudden expansion. A laboratory flume of 10 cm wide, 31 cm deep and 3 m long was used to carry out the experimental work. Models of different contraction ratios ranged between 50% to 90% passage waterways were used during the experimental programs. Five positive slopes were used for each contraction. Vertical transition in the bed were also changed for a particular bottom slope and a specified lateral contraction ratio. Different discharges were used for each bed slope. The dimensional analysis was used to correlate the relative protection length to the other relevant parameters. The effect of all these parameters on the relative protection length DS of sudden expansion were analyzed and discussed. It has been found that the relative protection length is function of the contraction ratio, the relative height of vertical transition, the channel bottom slope and the incoming Froude number. The relative protection increases with the increase of the incoming Froude number, and increases with the increase of the relative height of the vertical transition length, while it decreases with the increase of the contraction ratio. The steep slope has a major effect on the relative protection length, the trend of increases decreases as the slope decreases till a minimum effect when the bed is horizontal (limiting value of the positive slope).

The continuing decline of arable land per person and global human population growth are raising concerns about food security. Recent advances in horticultural technology (i.e., growing using light-emitting diode (LED) lighting, hydroponics, vertical farming, and controlled environments) have changed the ways in which vegetables can be produced and supplied. The emerging technology makes it possible to produce more food using fewer resources, independent of the weather and the need for land. They allow bringing agricultural practices inside urban built up spaces and making horticultural production an integrated part of the daily life of urban residents. The food industry is a major sector in the infrastructure of the country with high utility for the Bulgarian economy. Its current condition and future development not only directly influence 20-25% of the Bulgarian industry, but also have an impact on a considerable part of the domestic and foreign trade, the export earnings, the domestic consumption, and the standard of living of the population. The industry has a direct link to agriculture, to the regulation of domestic consumer demand and the penetration of foreign markets. Aim. This article is a report of a study exploring older first-time mothers' perceptions of health during their transition to menopause. Background. Increasing numbers of women worldwide are delaying motherhood, yet little is known about the unique phenomenon created when midlife motherhood is closely followed by the transition to menopause. A literature search revealed that the effect of these overlapping life transitions on women's health was unknown. Design. A hermeneutic phenomenological approach utilizing Gadamer's philosophical underpinnings guided the study. Method. A purposive sample of thirteen women aged 45-56 years who were mothering children aged 12 years or younger and experiencing symptoms of perimenopause was recruited. Two in-depth interviews were conducted with each woman and meaning was mutually negotiated through participative dialogue with the women, ongoing construction and thematic analysis of data collected between 2004 and 2007. Findings. The key theme 'Perimenopause as a State of Uncertainty' is an interpretation of older first-time mothers' perceptions of health during perimenopause and is the focus of this article. Hermeneutic interpretation culminated in the construct 'uncertainty' as theoretical embodiment of the women's lived experience. An uncertain temporality, projection of the lifespan and valuing health as precious enabled these women to transform uncertainty into opportunities for health promotion to 'be there' for their children. Conclusion. Nurses, nurse practitioners and midwives will increasingly be caring for midlife mothers and need to understand the unique issues of older mothers to offer education and health promotion that support healthy transitions to menopause.

A 2006 survey of 28,000 individuals in 28 post-communist countries reveals overwhelming public support for the revision of privatization in the region. A majority of respondents, however, favors a revision of privatization that ultimately leaves firms in private hands. We identify which factors influence individuals' support for revising privatization and explore whether respondents' views are driven by a preference for state property or a concern for the fairness of privatization. We find that human capital poorly suited for a market economy with private ownership and a lack of privately owned assets increase support for revising privatization with the primary reason being a preference for state over private property. Economic hardships during transition and work in the state sector also increase support for revising privatization, but mainly due to the perceived unfairness of privatization. The effects of human capital and asset ownership on support for revising privatization are independent of a countries' institutional environment. In contrast, good governance institutions amplify the impact of positive and negative transition experiences on attitudes toward revising privatization. In countries with low inequality, individuals with positive and negative transition experiences hold significantly different views about the superiority of private property, but this difference is much smaller in countries with high inequality.

The extended Bose-Hubbard model in a quadratic trap potential is studied using a finitesize density-matrix renormalization group method (DMRG). We compute the boson density profiles, the local compressibility and the hopping correlation functions. We observed the phase separation induced by the trap in all the quantities studied and conclude that the local density approximation is valid in the extended Bose-Hubbard model. From the plateaus obtained in the local compressibility it was possible to obtain the phase diagram of the homogeneous system which is in agreement with previous results.

This article examines the saga of local government restructuring in Canada's capital city. Specifically, it analyzes the interplay between provincial and local agendas for local government reform over many years, which culminated in provincial legislation and a one-year transition process to establish one municipality for the Ottawa city region. In doing so, the article addresses the extent to which the Ottawa transition demonstrates learning from other major urban restructuring efforts and the extent to which the Ottawa case provides new insights for future local government reform efforts. Key conclusions are that the key motivation for provincially initiated reform-cost saving through simplification of the local government structure in Ottawa-does not fully coincide with local needs and interests. Furthermore, the promise of financial savings has proven difficult to realize as a result of the local politics surrounding existing municipal debt and unresolved human resource management costs. Instead, future benefits from the amalgamation may lie in improved capacity to manage physical development, environmental sustainability, and cultural diversity.

Amy Merritt and Tristan Stubbs examine the challenges
of promoting environmental citizenship in the UK. Citizen participation in policymaking is receiving greater attention from politicians, academics, and citizens. However, due to political and institutional barriers and a lack of resources, citizens face real
challenges in their engagement. They explore the legislative parameters of localism in the UK by charting the Transition Town movement’s contribution to locally driven sustainability.

This article recounts the design and validity evidence for contextually-specific measures of early childhood social and behavioral adjustment within school using the Adjustment Scales for Early Transition in Schooling (ASETS). Through primary analyses of data from the Head Start Impact Study, a representative nationwide sample (N = 3077) of randomly selected children from low-income families was used to inform developmental-transitional stability and change in adjustment across numerous school contexts. Longitudinal exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses yielded reliable and temporally continuous behavioral dimensions assessing the pervasiveness of Peer, Learning, and Teacher Context Problems. Each context dimension was equated vertically through IRT, with Bayesian scoring across two years spanning prekindergarten through 1st grade. Multilevel modeling provided support for the concurrent validity of ASETS contextual scales and their ability to assess future risk of academic and behavioral problems. ASETS scales are also shown to reveal differential, contextually-based, change trajectories across four years of early school transition.

The article discusses the efforts to undertake economic reconstruction in Bosnia following the end of the war. It argues that, despite certain successes such as the rehabilitation of
infrastructure and the privatization of the banking sector, overall progress has been below expectations. The study, accordingly, attempts to analyse the reasons behind the reconstruction
failure by grouping Bosnia’s problems into four different challenges for analytical purposes: the post-Dayton institutional deficiency; overcoming political fragmentation; creating appropriate conditions for economic revival; and graduating from dependency on foreign economic aid. In this respect, it is concluded that the intersection between the economic and political dimensions of post-conflict reconstruction has generated a paradox: while huge amounts of economic assistance have intended to facilitate political reconciliation, the nature of the administrative (political) structure that was established in the post-war period has in turn hindered economic
recovery and the creation of a unified economic space. Moreover, political fragmentation and slow progress in economic reconstruction have been in a mutually constitutive relationship in which the existence of the one has contributed to the sustenance of the other.

There is currently no Australian research literature available on educational professionals’ experiences with home educated students when they make the transition into various mainstream educational institutions.  Seventeen educational professionals described their experiences with transitioning home educated students.  Students were evaluated as having strong to excellent academic abilities and good to excellent social skills.  The few academic problems identified in transitioning home educated students were linked to recognised learning difficulties while the social problems of a few students were linked by professionals to difficult family situations and family itinerancy rather than to the practice of home education.  The findings indicate that professionals were frequently unaware of a number of key factors related to student transitions into mainstream institutions, including student histories prior to entrance into mainstream institutions, the curriculum used by home educated students and how these were similar or different to curriculum used in their institutions.  Because professionals were also frequently unaware of parent reasons for home educating students, reasons for entering students into mainstream institutions, and student involvement in the decision to make these transitions, it is argued that more care and consideration be given to support these students in their transition into mainstream institutions.  In order to ensure positive transition experiences for home educated students, this paper recommends proactive use of existing school transition programs in conjunction with a clearer understanding of the culture of home education.

Along with the massification of higher education comes a need for new models to support the success of greater numbers of diverse students. A greater proportion of these students are ‘non-traditional’ in terms of preparedness, socioeconomic status and geography. This paper introduces an Associate Degree model designed to support this new higher education reality of broader student cohorts, thin regional markets and cross-sectoral collaboration. Background literature on challenges facing the higher education sector and its prospective students is presented, with a particular focus on regionality. An argument is made for the role of curriculum and pedagogy as enablers of non-traditional student success. This is supported by the results of a mixed-methods exploratory study. With the lack of attention to the attrition of child participants, loss to follow up (LTFU) holds significant implications for the health of young adults in the Pediatric HIV/AIDS Cohort Study (PHACS), a multi-center cohort study with children either perinatally infected with HIV (PHIV) or HIV-exposed uninfected (HEU). Young adults (18+) face barriers to being retained in the study, including competing time demands, geographic relocation, study fatigue, stigma, and low health literacy. Formative research, Photovoice (participatory photo elicitation), and a focus group informed the design of a web-based media strategy based on the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) to increase study engagement. Six members of the Young Adult and Adult Community Advisory Boards (CABs) were recruited via email and given Photovoice training via Prezi. Photos were taken around the theme of self-identity. A teleconference focus group facilitated reflections and salient themes for the video compilation exhibit. Themes included: 1) stereotypes, 2) layered-identities, 3) stigma, and 4) self-identity. Additional meta-themes were also codified. Media strategy recommendations included: 1) participatory media and photography, 2) digital story maps, 3) social media, and 4) content and topics. Based on the results of this project with a limited sample, participatory media like Photovoice may have a positive impact on participants at risk for LTFU by increasing study engagement. While some research supports this qualitative methodology, limitations must be considered. Future PHACS projects should incorporate a needs assessment and evaluation. Moreover, further research in this area of public health and health communication needs to continue overall.

Concomitant with rapid change in the world of work, career theory, research, and practice are beginning to reconsider established constructs to reposition themselves and remain contextually relevant. On a souvent aménagé l'espace pour gagner du temps mais on a rarement aménagé le temps pour gagner de l'espace. Plus largement, l'approche chronotopique croisant espace et temps est longtemps restée marginale. Mais les temps changent. Les contraintes qui pèsent sur la ville contemporaine, la mutation des modes de vie, la nécessaire maitrise de la mobilité des biens et des personnes et de l'étalement urbain, les besoins d'autonomie, de proximité et de partage exprimés avec force par les citoyens lors de la crise sanitaire, les attentes générales en termes de développement durable et de transition passent notamment par un changement de regards et de pratiques pour l'observation, la fabrique et la gestion des mondes urbains. La réponse à ces défis nécessite le déploiement d'une approche chronotopique et rythmique de la ville qui intègre la question du temps à toutes les échelles de l'appartement à la métropole en passant par le quartier, sur le court, le moyen et le long terme. Elle appelle également le passage d'une approche en termes de zoning et de spécialisation des espaces (résidence, travail, courses, loisirs)-dont on a pu mesurer les effets négatifs-à une approche en termes de mixité des usages et des fonctions, de polyvalence et d'hybridation des espaces et des temps. Ce changement d'approche est une évidence, une nécessité et une opportunité pour esquisser ensemble des scenarios pour la ville de demain, une ville malléable et inclusive qui réponde aux besoins des résidents et visiteurs avec un impact limité sur les milieux. C'est une évidence car la ville n'est pas une entité figée mais un système vivant qui évolue en permanence à différentes échelles et selon différents rythmes et l'être urbain n'a pas les mêmes attentes et besoin tout au long de la journée, de la semaine ou de la vie. C'est une nécessité car nous devons répondre aux défis économiques, sociaux, culturels et environnementaux.

The employment outcomes for young adults with autism or intellectual disability (ID) lag far behind those of their peers without disabilities. Most postsecondary education programs for students with disabilities incorporate internship experiences to foster employment skills. However, the proximity of job coaches may inadvertently hinder social opportunities and independence. We used a multiple-probe, single-case experimental design across three college students with autism or ID to examine the effects of a coaching package on task engagement and social interactions. For all participants, interactions increased and task engagement maintained when job coaches reduced proximity and delivered prompts discreetly through bug-in-ear devices. Participants considered the intervention beneficial and unobtrusive. We present implications for supporting employment preparation within postsecondary education programs.

This paper explores the question “how is good practice for managing the transition of students into university institutionalised in a large university? ” by describing the implementation of two elements of our Blueprint for transition success. These elements are a staff-focused teamwork resource which asks “can a teamwork protocol for academic staff improve the design of teamwork units and improve the learning experience for first year students?”; and a project to implement good practice for monitoring student engagement which asks “how do we prevent, identify and manage students who are at risk of disengagement, to improve opportunities for student persistence and to minimise unexplained attrition?”. Because we know that the mere existence of these resources or conduct of the projects alone will not improve practice or the outcomes for students, these projects have been selected as vehicles for the Blueprint’s implementation because they engender high levels of staff participation ...

Two monarchies were formed at the end of the twentieth century and both
incorporated the whole process of parliamentarisation that evolved since the
nineteenth century and allowed them to be compatible with democracy; are Spain
and Sweden, whose 1975 Instrument of Government served as a model for the
Spanish constituents. So the monarchy that was designed in the 1978 Constitution
was not the product of Francoism, but of Spanish and Western constitutional
evolution and history, just as the social state of law that arose with this monarchy
was not. It was certainly not obligatory to establish a democratic monarchy, but it
was not contradicted by democracy itself, as many European countries with a long
constitutional tradition showed. This certainty served the great parties that had
historically defended the republic or bypassed the forms of government, to accept
the constitutional design within the framework of a democratic monarchy.

One of the dilemmas faced by directors and other corporate leaders is the need to be entrepreneurial in ensuring the future success of a company which involves risk, while at the same time retaining prudent control. Transitioning leadership suggests a process of adjustment, adaptation, transformation or metamorphosis from one condition, situation or state to another, depending upon the extent of the internal or external change required to continue to operate and cope. The process also involves risk and its management. Boards need to ensure that risk aversion and contemporary approaches to compliance and risk management do not stifle creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. In many contexts, approaches to risk management and the risk management community may need to change if risk management is to be viewed more positively as an enabler of enterprise, transition, change and transformation rather than as an inhibitor and overhead cost.

OBJECTIVES: To study the feasibility and effectiveness of a discharge planning intervention.DESIGN: Quasi-experimental pre–post study design.SETTING: General medicine wards at three hospitals: an academic medical center, a community teaching hospital, and a community-based nonteaching hospital.PARTICIPANTS: All patients aged 65 and older admitted to the hospitalist services.INTERVENTION: The intervention toolkit had five core elements: admission form with geriatric cues, facsimile to the primary care provider, interdisciplinary worksheet to identify barriers to discharge, pharmacist–physician collaborative medication reconciliation, and predischarge planning appointments.MEASUREMENTS: Thirty-day readmission and return to emergency department rates and patient satisfaction with discharge. Odds ratios were determined, and site effects were examined accordig to interaction terms and Breslow Day statistics.RESULTS: Two hundred thirty-seven patients were followed during the preintervention period, and 185 were exposed to the intervention. Patients characteristics were similar across the two time periods. The proportion of patients with high-quality transitions home, measured according to Coleman's Care Transition Measures, increased from 68% to 89% (odds ratio (OR)=3.49, 95% confidence interval (CI)=2.06–5.92). Return to the emergency department within 3 days of discharge was lower in the intervention period (10% vs 3%, OR=0.25, 95% CI=0.10–0.62). At 30 days, there was a lower rate of readmission (22% vs 14%, OR=0.59, 95% CI=0.34–0.97) and fewer visits to the emergency department (21% vs 14%, OR=0.61, 95% CI=0.36–1.03) (P=.06).CONCLUSION: When hospitalized elderly patients are treated with consideration of their specific needs, healthcare outcomes can be improved.

Reviews of the sport psychology literature have identified a number of models of athlete development in sport . However, minimal research has investigated the origins of knowledge from which each model was developed. The purpose of this study was to systematically examine the influential texts responsible for providing the basis of athlete development models in sport. A citation path analysis of the sport psychology literature was used to generate a knowledge development path of seven athlete development models in sport. The analysis identified influential texts and authors in the conceptualization of athlete development. The population of 229 texts (articles, books, book chapters) was selected in two phases. Phase 1 texts were articles citing seven articles depicting models of athlete development (n 075). Phase 2 included texts cited three or more times by Phase 1 articles (n 0 154). The analysis revealed how the scholarship of Benjamin Bloom (1985) has been integrated into the field of sport psychology, and how two articles appearing in 1993 and 2003 helped shape present conceptualizations of athlete development.

Changer de mode de vie au xxi e siècle n’est pas seulement une lubie individuelle, mais une nécessité collective pour faire face aux enjeux écologiques planétaires. Or faire évoluer son quotidien pour vivre plus simplement est loin d’être une évidence et implique une transformation matérielle et identitaire profonde. Il s’agit non seulement de changer ses habitudes de consommation, mais aussi de faire évoluer son travail, ses propres aspirations et ses rapports sociaux pour qu’ils reflètent et soutiennent ce changement de vie.

En analysant l’expérience de celles et ceux qui essaient de vivre plus simplement, cette recherche met en lumière le processus de distanciation normative dans lequel ces personnes sont engagées. Cet ouvrage explore ce qui évolue dans leur quotidien et les répercussions que ce choix de vie a sur leurs interactions sociales, sur leurs engagements personnels et sur leur vision du monde à court et à long terme.

Changer de vie pour aller vers plus de simplicité dans le monde du toujours plus, c’est remettre en question son propre rapport à la norme. C’est changer de paradigme et accepter le changement comme compagnon de route, car l’objectif final n’est ni arrêté ni évident. Les personnes qui font ce choix-là acceptent de vivre en transition, pour aller vers un avenir qu’il s’agit d’inventer chemin faisant.
