In this research work, frequency response of the gear
box in the medium duty lathe machine is studied using transfer
functions. The effect of the torque acting at a particular rotor on
the amplitude of vibration of the other rotors is studied. Initially,
equation of motion is developed for the multi-rotor system in the
gearbox and later, Laplace transforms are applied to find the
transfer functions. Torque acting at various rotors is also
calculated. The obtained characteristic equation and the transfer
functions are solved for poles and zeros (frequencies to attenuate
the inputs at every rotor) by writing programming in MATLAB.
Plots of the frequency response curves are plotted by writing the
programming in MATLAB and the final conclusions are drawn.

Abstract: We show a proof of the so-called Riemann Hypothesis (RH) stating that “All the non-trivial zero of the Zeta Function are on the Critical Line”. We prove the RH using the theory of “inner product spaces ” I and l2 Hilbert spaces, where is defined the “functional ” (a,b), named scalar [or inner] product of the vectors a and b. This paper deals with monic orthogonal polynomial sequences (MOPS in short) generated by a Geronimus canonical spectral transformation of a positive Borel measure µ, i.e., 1 (x − c) dµ(x) + N δ(x − c), for some free parameter N ∈ R + and shift c. We analyze the behavior of the corresponding MOPS. In particular, we obtain such a behavior when the mass N tends to infinity as well as we characterize the precise values of N such the smallest (respectively, the largest) zero of these MOPS is located outside the support of the original measure µ. When µ is semi-classical, we obtain the ladder operators and the second order linear differential equation satisfied by the Geronimus perturbed MOPS, and we also give an electrostatic interpretation of the zero distribution in terms of a logarithmic potential interaction under the action of an external field. We analyze such an equilibrium problem when the mass point of the perturbation c is located outside the support of µ.

In this paper, we prove some extensions of the Eneström-Kakeya theorem by relaxing the hypothesis in different ways which in turn generalizes a result of Aziz and Zargar [Some extensions of Eneström-Kakeya Theorem, Glasnik Matematički, 31(1996), 239-244].
