Serving the community and safeguarding the environment is not a “box to check” but rather an integral part of our DNA. We help when, how, and where we can. Not because we think anyone’s watching, but because it’s just who we are.
Community Outreach & Partnerships
ATK Charity Days Employees get workdays off throughout the year to spend the time volunteering.
Holiday Pie Drive In November we prep, roll, crimp, mix, and bake dozens of pies to benefit Community Servings
Holiday Gift Drive Every December we provide holiday gifts and meals to a family through a partnership with Home for Little Wanderers
Fudge/Baking Drive In February we prepare fudge and baked goods to benefit No Kid Hungry
We partner with organizations that primarily focus on local farming, reducing hunger, and cooking education to strengthen our communities and rally against some of society’s greatest challenges.
Sustainability
A foolproof recipe means nothing if it’s achieved at the expense of our environment. We are dedicated to reducing waste and minimizing our carbon footprint through conscious efforts to operate sustainably.
Food Composting We’ve been composting since February 2019.
ATK Employee Take-Home Fridge Leftover food gets put in this community refrigerator and scooped up by hungry employees.
Food Management System This system ensures food gets tracked and recirculated, when possible.
Review Eco-Friendly Products So you know which products are worth your money (and we know which ones to stock in the Test Kitchen).
Use of Reusable Food & Beverage Containers All of the containers we use to prep and package are reusable or compostable.
Buy Local And In Bulk This helps minimize the packaging and reduces fossil fuels.
