John Lennon’s son Sean Lennon has some things to say about Taylor Swift (largely positive, so don’t panic).

In response to Donald Trump feeling the need to post in all-caps, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” Sean hit Twitter to muse, “Hating on Taylor Swift is not a good look.”

He then expanded on this, saying that he’s “never been a fan of her music” but “can’t think of a single song so I don’t really know if I like it or not.” Either way, he called Taylor a “uniquely successful American,” who has “done things in a way that no one has done before her.”

“She is the kind of American that should be respected and in fact treasured,” Sean explained. “We need more not less Taylor Swifts in our world. People who thrive continually and consistently are exactly the kind of person both parties should embrace. So for some old grumpy dude to get angry at her, no, that’s not a good look.” He then offered a more “presidential” alternative for what Trump could have said, and noted that “‘old man yells at moon’ is not a good look.”

All very true. But! Sean soon proceeded to hop back on Twitter and tell everyone that he actually *does* remember the song “Bad Blood”…and isn’t a fan of certain lyrics. Ahem:

“I can’t believe I forgot this one, but I actually remember a Taylor song called bad blood (or something),” he explained. “I remember she rhymed mad love with bad blood and that kind of made me uncomfortable. This is only to say that it was not true I don’t know any songs. I know that one. I have nothing against her. I have a lot of respect for what she has accomplished. I certainly could never do what she does.”

Me to Sean on Twitter today: Good luck, babe!
