We've finally hit the "-ber" months and the air is getting cooler, the leaves are starting to change color, and the vibes are perfect for tucking into into a spooky, scary movie. Cue James McAvoy's new psychological horror flick Speak No Evil hitting theaters.
If you haven't watched the trailer yet (do it!), it's about an American family who takes off from their new home in London for a vacation in Italy. While there, they meet a British family and seem to hit it off, so much so their new British pals invite them to come to their farm in the English countryside. What starts off as a picturesque escape turns into a full-on hellscape as the Americans realize their hosts have some very sinister plans up their flannel sleeves.
If that sounds like something you'd rather watch cozied up on the couch in your PJs with a fluffy blanket to pull up over your eyes during the really scary parts, we're here to help!
So is it streaming yet?
Sorry to say but the movie is only in theaters right now and probably won't be streaming for at least a few weeks, so if you're dying to watch it as soon as possible, you'll have to head on over to your closest theatre and shell out for a ticket. The good news is that it's the perfect excuse to get the perfect movie theatre snack: a medium popcorn and a large diet coke. No, I will not be taking questions at this time.
Where will Speak No Evil stream?
Since Speak No Evil is a Universal Pictures release, it'll be streaming on Peacock before it (possibly) goes anywhere else. Fun fact: Peacock is where Universal basically always releases its movies for streaming first. The more you know!
OK, but what if I don't have Peacock?
Don't worry, you can still watch it at home too, it just may cost you a bit more. The movie will be available for purchase through premium video on demand. That means you can buy it on places like Prime Video, Apple TV+, and YouTube.
