The development officer with the Royal National Institute for the Blind, from Bearsden, Glasgow, said: "To think that I would enter the most
gruelling physical race in the world 14 years later was beyond my wildest dreams.

One contestant will be voted out each day, based on how well they present themselves on the radio and how well they do in the series of
gruelling and not so
gruelling challenges.
A NORTH Wales animal lover has completed a
gruelling five-day ride to raise cash for maltreated horses in the Middle East.
