This is my least favorite book by Alex Michaelides. I really disliked the narrator and narration style. It felt so messy and disjointed. The characters were all boring and I didn’t care for any of them. There was a lack of suspense and mystery throughout the book. This felt more like a drama than a thriller. I really enjoyed The Silent Patient and liked The Maidens, but this one was just very boring and kind of sloppy.
