Welcome to Grouvee! Please read the following Terms of Service carefully so that you are aware of your legal rights and obligations with respect to Grouvee Media LLC and its affiliates ("we," "us," or "Grouvee"). This is a contract between you and Grouvee that covers your use of the Grouvee Service, which includes the grouvee.com website, discussion forums, and blogs.

By using or accessing the Grouvee Service, you agree to these Terms of Service, whether you are a registered user of the Service or not. This agreement will remain in full force and effect as long as you are a user of the Service, and you may still be bound by certain obligations even after your use of the Service terminates.

You may only use the Service if your applicable jurisdiction allows you to accept this Terms of Service. If you are younger than 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to open an account and that parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms of Service.

Creating a Grouvee Account

You do not have to register in order to visit Grouvee. To access certain features of the Service, though, including creating "shelves" to organize your video game collection and backlog, posting video game reviews, and commenting on other members' reviews, you will need to register with Grouvee and create a "User Account." Your account gives you access to the services and functionality that we may establish and maintain from time to time and in our sole discretion.

Anyone over the age of 13 may create a User Account. You may register for an account by selecting a user identification ("Username") and password, and by providing certain personal information.

You may not provide any false personal information on Grouvee and agree to keep your account contact information accurate and up to date. You agree to keep your password confidential and not share your password or account with any other party, and you will immediately notify Grouvee of any unauthorized use of your Username and/or password.

We may use the email you provide to us in your user account to provide you with service messages and updates. By becoming a site member you are consenting to the receipt of these communications.

Grouvee may terminate your account and your Username for certain reasons, including violation of the letter or spirit of these Terms of Service, or any behavior that is harmful to other users, third parties, or the business interests of Grouvee. You may not create another account if we suspend or terminate your account for any reason, without our express written permission.

Posting Content on Grouvee

You are responsible for all content that you post on or transmit through the site. You may not post content that:

infringes the copyright, trademark, patent right or other proprietary right of any person or that is used without the permission of the owner;
you know to be inaccurate;
is pornographic, sexually explicit or obscene;
exploits children or minors;
violates the rights of privacy or publicity of any person;
is libelous, slanderous or defamatory;
contains any personally identifying information about any person without their consent or about any person who is a minor;
may be deemed generally offensive to the site community, including blatant expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, hatred or profanity;
includes advertisements, promotions, solicitations or offers to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose;
promotes or provides instructional information about illegal or illicit activities; or
contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to destroy, interrupt or otherwise limit the functionality of any computer software, computer hardware or other equipment.

We may remove any content that violates these Terms and Conditions or that we determine is otherwise not appropriate for the site. When you post or transmit content on or through the site, you grant Grouvee and our affiliates and partners a nonexclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, sub licensable, royalty-free license to use, store, display, publish, transmit, transfer, distribute, reproduce, rearrange, edit, modify, aggregate, create derivative works of and publicly perform the content that you submit to the site for any purpose, in any form, medium, or technology now known or later developed. You also grant us a license to use your name, city and state in connection with our use of any content you provide to us. You also consent to the display of advertising within or adjacent to any of your content. By posting content to the site you consent to the granting of this license.

Privacy and Grouvee Data

Your privacy is very important to us at Grouvee. To better protect your rights, we have provided the grouvee.com Privacy Policy to explain our privacy practices in detail.

Your Rights to Use the Service

Grouvee grants you a non-exclusive, revocable, personal, nontransferable and non-assignable license to access and use the Service, subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement. Grouvee may, in its sole discretion and at any time, revoke this license or discontinue providing any part of the Service without notice.

This license does not allow you to make any commercial use or any derivative use of the Service (including any of its individual elements or content). You agree to comply with the copyright, trademark, service mark, and all other applicable laws and international treaty provisions that protect the Service. You agree not to copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, modify, rent, sell, or create derivative works of any portion of the Service.

The license for use of this Service is effective until terminated. This license will terminate as set forth within this Terms of Service or if you violate any term or condition of this Terms of Service. In such event, no notice of termination is required.

Intellectual Property Rights Policy

Grouvee respects the rights of intellectual property holders. If you believe that any content on the site violates these Terms and Conditions or your intellectual property rights, you can report such violation to us. In the case of an alleged infringement, please provide the following information:

A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed;
A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site (including the exact URL);
An address, a telephone number, and an e-mail address where we can contact you;
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright or other intellectual property rights owner, by its agent, or by law;
A statement by you under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
Your electronic or physical signature.

We may request additional information before we remove allegedly infringing material. You may report a copyright violation by providing the above information to the Grouvee Media LLC DMCA agent on file with the US Copyright Office.
