Ariana Grande remembered her late ex, Mac Miller, as she marked the 10th anniversary of their song "The Way" over the weekend.
The singer reposted the music video, which was originally shared by a fan account, on her Instagram Story and wrote along the bottom in tiny white font, "I love you," presumably to Miller.
"The Way" was released as part of Grande's album Yours Truly in 2013. She and Miller also collaborated on various other musical projects over the years, including his 2016 track "My Favorite Part" and a rendition of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" in 2012.
The two dated from 2016 to 2018. Sadly, the rapper died of an accidental drug overdose later that year on September 7.
Grande publicly mourned her ex and sang about him on various tracks, including "Thank U, Next" and "Ghostin" from her Thank U, Next album, and "Just Like Magic" from her Positions album.
"I adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can't believe you aren't here anymore. i really can't wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i'm so mad, i'm so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i'm so sorry i couldn't fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you're okay now. rest," Grande wrote in an Instagram post following Miller's death.
