In 2016, she auditioned for the part of Lyra in
Queste oscure materie (2019). Although she had submitted her audition tape, she didn't get a response for a while. However, while she was on vacation in Puerto Rico in 2017, she was later asked to make one more take. But before she recorded it, she decided to go swimming, and she was stung in the face by a jellyfish. She recorded her second audition tape with a swollen face. Nevertheless, that situation didn't interfere with her getting the part.
