Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song (1971)

There’s nothing sweeter than the sweaty skin in Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song (1971). Thanks to the writing, directing, producing and acting skills of maverick Melvin Van Peebles, this indie flick is a prime example of a blaxploitation action thriller. The story starts when an orphan called Sweetback (Mario Van Peebles) is raised in a brothel during the 1940s. Once he grows up and out, the adult Sweetback (now played by Melvin) works as a male prostitute, performing in a whorehouse sex show. Needless to say, he puts the motion into this motion picture! Sweetback also becomes a hero in his community when he saves a Black Panther named Mu-Mu (Hubert Scales) from the cops. But under instructions from the Commissioner (John Dullaghan), the police go after him and Mu-Mu. While on the run, Sweetback comes across his ex-girlfriend (Rhetta Hughes), a biker (Johnny Amos), and the truth about his true identity. Meanwhile, we get to discover Melvin’s bare body. Just 10 minutes into the pic, the well-endowed star reveals his ebony pecs and big dick! Wait another minute or two to see the nude dude’s rump during a hump. If that’s not arousing enough, Mr. Van Peebles shows off his back and ass again when he sheds his threads while having sex at the 33 and 50-minute marks. Not to be outdone, Beetle (Simon Chuckster) flashes his flesh 24 minutes into the movie. When he goes to sit on the toilet, we get to see the actor’s chest, balls and pee pee!
