Weiting Liu Common Sense Media Villain AI Cassandra's retro design turns out sloppy rather than scary – but in an amusing way adds some B-movie charms reminiscent of 1980s Hollywood. Feb 13, 2025 Full Review John Serba Decider Cassandra’s spirited opener is entertaining, and even though it points toward more predictable plot developments, it’s still worth sticking with for another episode or two. Rated: 4/5 Feb 6, 2025 Full Review Kelcie Mattson Collider Fusing elements of sci-fi, horror, psychological thriller, and women-focused family dramas of decades past, Cassandra is quieter than the company's films but still a sleek, ambitious limited series with plenty of meat on its bones... Paris P Very well made entertaining show from Germany👌 Of course not everything is logic but what always is? Relax and let it happen:-) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/25 Full Review Alex K Really bad. The writing is horrible, I couldn't finish this trash heap, and I tried to hang in there until the end, it was not possible. I would give this show 0 stars if that was option. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/25 Full Review Poshan S this is one of my top sci-fi series. must watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/25 Full Review César C Roteiro mal escrito, traz situações completamente sem sentido algum. (ENGLISH) Cassandra begins with a very interesting concept: artificial intelligence seamlessly integrated into daily life and how that relationship starts to take a dark turn. At first, everything works well. There’s tension, the premise is engaging, and it seems like the series is building up to a gripping tech thriller. But as the episodes progress, the story struggles to maintain the same strength it started with. The main issue is the pacing. At times, it feels like certain moments are stretched out without really adding much to the plot. Some scenes seem more like filler than actual story progression. Certain characters also feel underdeveloped, with motivations that aren’t always clear. That being said, the show does have its strengths. Visually, it’s striking, and the sense of unease is well-executed in several key moments. It’s not a forgettable series, and while it leaves the impression that it could have been more solid, it still manages to raise interesting questions about technology and control. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/25 Full Review Josh G I have just finished watching this series and it was very good! I have seen multiple "smart home" horrors but nothing quite like this. Particularly, because the house is from the 70's. I really enjoy the flashbacks we get back to Cassandra and seeing her story. She went through so much that everything took her toll and lost herself. Its also creative how the flashback have the lower quality like you would expect during that time, and show how different it was back then. There are many twists, that will keep you hooked. I wish the ending would skip to the future and see how the family ended up but nonetheless a great show!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/25 Full Review Read all reviews
