Understanding Students Graphic organizers are helpful in the way students process information III. Understanding Science Teaching Graphic organizers lend themselves well to science education IV. Engaging the Science Learner Graphic organizers engage students in the learning Background of Artifact In this class, we selected a teaching model that w thought would be beneficial for others to learn. I selected graphic organizers because I have seen what they have done in my classroom, and wanted to share them with the other students. I presented the information using graphic organizers! Reflection on Learning Demonstrated in this Work Sample From competing this assignment, I have learned how beneficial graphic organizers and thinking maps can be for student achievement. They help students process information that may be difficult to process when written out in report form. They are beneficial when used with steps and items that go in sequential order, like most science content. This artifact will affect my classroom by my implementation and use of graphic organizers in my classroom. I have benefited from this artifact myself by using it in class when taking notes, along with my students, it also helps me process information too! I will use what I have learned from this artifact to positively affect my classroom by regular implementation.
