Dear Parents, Your student has been very busy learning this month! We have already had two religion tests, three math assessments and our first spelling test! The spelling tests are going home today. As you can see, we had a pretest on Thursday and those who had 100 percent that day had some free time while the others retook the test on Friday. We will do this every time we have a spelling test. Please note that starting with the next test, I will be marking words on tests incorrect if they are written with a capital letter (unless that word is a proper noun). We also are looking for items for our Draw Down basket. Our basket theme will be: Autumn. We are in need of items that go along with that theme. This can include: hand or kitchen towels, fall decorations, fall food items that are non-perishable such as an apple cider or pumpkin bread mix, mugs, a scarf, a fall-themed childrens th book, etc. The items are due by Friday, October 11 . The Pizza Hut book-it program starts tomorrow. The reading logs are going home today. The process is the same as last year. Each student must read or be read to five nights a week to participate. The completed st calendars will be due November 1 . Our field trip to Marion Abbey Farms is this Friday. The students can wear jeans with a St. Peter uniform shirt or a spirit wear shirt.
