    APPEARANCE Clothing should fit well and of good quality Neat and tidy

    GESTURES Body movements to emphasize your speech. Best for extemporaneous, impromptu, manuscript and memorized delivery Avoid: - fidgeting or doodling - random movements

    MOVEMENT
    Move around to emphasize your point Movement should be meaningful and with purpose Random wandering movement conveys the message that you are nervous, bored or otherwise pre-occupied. This distracts the audience.

    EYE CONTACT
    Conveys the speakers thoughts and feelings to the audience Audience will be more interested and enthusiastic Quizzical look or raised eyebrow shows you demand attention from the audience Example: 1. look around 2. select individuals at random 3. look into their eyes
