Advising & Counseling
Advised academic chairwomen on how to create effective academic plans and programs for their organizations, utilizing
goal setting, campus resources, academic advisors, and academic services
Counseled members of a student organization through weekly individual meetings assisting in the development of the
organization, addressing risk management, event planning and academic goal setting
Supported 36 residents of Sigma Kappa sorority personally, professionally and academically, challenging them to live in

Designed outcomes-based curriculum for the annual Presidents Leadership Retreat

of gender roles, and facilitated the workshop for a group of 25 fraternity men
Served as a teacher assistant for an online college success course for 3,000 incoming first-year students
Designed lesson plans based on The Student Leadership Challenge to teach first and second-year students enrolled in a 7

Recruitment & Retention
Advised the Panhellenic recruitment team providing training, encouragement, and feedback as they led 40 recruitment guides
through a six month training program
Developed leadership curriculum for the recruitment guide program that consisted of 8 education sessions
Led campus tours for prospective students and their families for groups ranging from 2 to 25 in size
Worked with the admissions team to plan, execute and facilitate recruitment events for 200-1200 people
Facilitated conversations among prospective students, their parents, faculty members, and student affairs professionals
Program Management & Event Planning
Assisted in the staff recruitment and selection process through organizing interviews with prospective candidates
Organized event logistics for 20 New Member Orientation sessions for 500 new members of the community, and developed
and led training sessions for 15 student facilitators who led the sessions
Managed and facilitated discussion board posts to connect first-year students to campus resources and engage them in
reflection about their passions, interests, and goals
Served as an evaluator for the Greek Community Standards of Excellence program, provided feedback to Greek-letter
organizations regarding their chapter operations and commitment to academics, service, leadership, and positive relationships
Organized and implemented changes to the Greek Community Standards of Excellence program that included recruitment
and training of 40 evaluators
Assisted in spearheading PhotoVoice, a program that challenged students to use photos to examine social issues in the
fraternity/ sorority community
