I used a photography room to get the best possible image for my media project
however, while I was capturing photos I noticed that a series photos had
background shadows from the flash of my camera. I re-took the images abandoning
my iPhone camera and using my personal camera device Nikon D3100 as this
worked out better for me.

FRONT PAGE WHICH PHOTOSHOP

TECHNIQUES HAVE YOU EXPLORED WITH
THIS MAGAZINE PAGES?
I have explored a range of Photoshop techniques to make
my magazine successful.
First, I introduced the image to less saturation to lessen
the vibrancy from the original image.
I used the brightness/contrast tool found under the
image tab in Photoshop to adjust the lights and darks.
Doing this leads to the result of a much richer picture.
This shows the
steps into
producing a
rich image
with contrast
and saturation

CONTENTS PAGE WHICH PHOTOSHOP

TECHNIQUES HAVE YOU EXPLORED WITH
THIS MAGAZINE?
For the contents page I had to be sure to use the
grid tool to help keep my layout in a well
structured layout without any faults of
measurement.

Because I used the grid tool I was able to place all

elements of my contents page into areas which were
best suited!

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD WHICH

PHOTOSHOP TECHNIQUES HAVE YOU
EXPLORED WITH THIS PAGE?
Another technique I used In
Photoshop was the shape tool. From
the shape tool I used a rectangle to
form the box which the interview
sits in and a costume shape tool to
form the boxes where the quotes are
posted next to the main subject.

I then used the grid tool to guide me in positioning the

elements found in the double page spread
