    us that
    something
    bad is about
    to happen.
    The silence
    also helps
    build up the
    tension
    between each
    scene

    Sound effect of a car driving with rock


    music playing, this lets us know what
    type of music the main character likes
    gives us more details about him.
    Sound effect of tyres screeching
    across the road, this sounds effect
    helps identify that he has to stop
    suddenly as theres a car coming.
    After the tyre screeching comes a
    bang, this sound effect builds tension
    for the listeners as you dont know
    what has happened to the people in
    the crash.
    There is also a sound effect of water
    flooding into the car this rises the
    tension as you dont know whether
    the guy will survive. Another sound
    effect used to build the tension as the
    man is getting submerged under the
    water is him choking on the water and
    gasping for air
    Sound effect of rain hitting the road
    and on the river and thunder
    clapping.
