DECIDED TO BUILT ON THE SLOPE
EXACTLY BALANCING CUT AD FILL.
THE SIDE SET BACKS WERE 3M ON
THE WEST AND 5M ON THE EAST
WHICH HELPED TO RETAIN ALL THE
TREES.
BUILDING FORM
BESIDES BUILDING AND THE NEED TO KEEP TREES ,THE
INTAKE OF ATRIAL LIGHT INTO BUILDING INDUCING
BREEZE AND THE NEED TO MAXIMIZE THE USAGE OF
SPACE GREATLY DETERMIED THE FINAL FORM.
THE BUILDING REVOLVES AROUND A CIRCUAR
CORE,WHICH HAS STAIRS,THE STAIRS,THE CHUTE,AND
THE BELL.
ROOF
THE ROOF HAS FIVE CUT OUTS AND FIVE DORMERS FOR
THE PURPOSE OF DAY LIGHTING AND VENTILATION .
THE INDUCED VENTILATION ASPECT OF THE DESIGN HAS
BEEN MOST SUCCESSFUL AND FAS ARE HARDLY USED
USING A FILLER SLAB WITH THE FILLER BEING
THERMOCOLE PACKING OR EMPTY BOTTLES HAS
REDUCED THE HEAT INTAKE FROM THE RCC ROOF
PERFORATED CONCRETE JALIS BELOW ROOF SLABS ALSO
HELPS IN COOLING THE ROOMS BY INDUCING
VENTILATION.
THERE ARE MANY INTAKES AT FLOOR LEVEL ENSURING
THAT THE WHOLE BUILDING GETS VENTILATED
EMBODIED ENERGY
ANOTHER ASPECT WAS THE LOW ENERGY CONSUMED IN THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE BUILDING WITH NATURAL STONE AS AN IMPORTANT MATERIAL IN
BUILDING.
ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS HAVE BEEN RECYCLED AND ALL FORMS OF
PLASTER ELIMINATED.
WASTE TILES HAVE BEEN USED FOR MANY FLOORS.
FILLER SLABS HAVE BEEN USED FOR ROOF CONSTRUCTION.

MOSTLY RECYCLED OLD DOORS AND WINDOWS,GRILLS,BRICK JALIS.
RED OXIDE FLORING IN CLASSROOMS AND CHINA MOSAIC IN OPEN AREAS
