In October we partnered with Perth
Undergraduate Choral Society to host a food

full of donations, that we were then able to give
the Salvation Army.

In September, the Rotaract Club of

Subiaco hosted a night at the Jazz
Cellar. All were invited to enjoy an
evening with music provided by the

All the funds went to Be

Benevolent, which is an
organization that provides
educational opportunities for
poverty-stricken children in India.

Disease is a group of diseases affected

the nerve cells within our muscles.
Currently there is no cure with an
average of 700 people dying each year
and a life expectancy of only 27 months
after diagnosis. This project allowed
Carly and the rest of the Rotaract Club
of Mount Lawley a great opportunity to
firstly raise awareness with our
connection to our local community and
then also donate funds to the cause
which will be spent on important
equipment and research in the search
for a cure.
