Consider this question: What will people nee d to either
survive or perhaps use as a luxury item in the year 3000?
Use this question as a starting point in researching what you want
to create and market as a product or service.
Visit the site: http://www.bbc.com/earth/story/20141016-your-life-onearth
Look at how much has changed in the world in just the time you have been
alive.
How much different will our world be in roughly 1000 years?
Look at how current political and global climates are changing. In a few
hundred years,
what will they be like? What will the earth be/look like?
Below, describe what your imaged future would be like. BE
SPECIFIC.
(Is it a wasteland, a utopia, a technologically enhanced world where people
are more
machine than human?)
In my case, with my own envision of my imaged future, it would be more of a
utopia or paradise in which people from all corners of the globe are living
happily with.
- living in harmony with nature with a perfect balance of man, nature and
machine with highly technical cities, vast areas of nature in the land and sea
with dense forests, clear blue oceans and bright and colorful coral reefs and
such as well as
- humans living in harmony with no more ideas and forms of stereotypes and
racism or any of those petty society bias issues and living happy with each
other no matter what matters like their race, color, culture and so much
more.
- the countries of today now living in peace and prosperity with one another
with no cultural or racial boundaries holding people back in fear of being
discriminated with occasional squabbles but happily living in peace.
What product are you creating that can only exist in the year 3000?
Write what
that product is and how it works/what it does below:

The product that Im creating existing only in the year 3000, over 985 years
apart from today, is going to be a pair of all-dance shoes. What my product
would do at that time would be simple sneakers that can grant the wearer the
ability to dance in numerous dancing styles from jazz tap to ballet, from Irish
tap to hip-hop. Its meant to be a simple product done complex; a symbol of
simplicity but global complexity.
How will your product be DIFFERENT FROM A CURRENT PRODUCT that
exists today?
Your product should be dramatically different.
Comparing my project of the future and to a current product of today, its to be
totally different in the idea and sense of making and gaining new friends that
can understand a person and his/her emotions and who would be friends for life
depending on the personalities of individuals.
Who is your product intended for? How will your market it (type of
imagery/type of ad)?
(For example: the target is the teen demographic. The marketing would
involve imagery
that appeals to a younger generation. This imagery would be more playful.
Also, how
the imagery is shown (what media is used) is be integral. Perhaps the ads
are
shown via gigantic interactive projections on the sides of buildings near
schools).
For my product, its actually intended for not just a younger or older
generation; its meant to be a product for all generations with people of all ages to
use. Made in different sizes but with the main shoes being at least 8.5 for most
people, it can give everyone a means to dance different styles while performing or
practicing many different.
In the case of ads and how I would market the simple yet complex dancing
shoes, I would play with the idea of using TV commercials and public bus ads to
give my product some promotion of the sort.

Based upon what you have decided to create, as well as, who
the product of service is for, write what your project goal is.
Consider how you want to illustrate your product, logo, and
ad.
(Will your aim be to create a very clean illustration meant
for a business-minded individual or will your designs be
bright and slightly goofy to appeal to a younger audience).
Work in what your goals with Adobe Illustrator are.
(Based on your experience so far with Illustrator, what are
your goals for working with the program? Do you hope to
be able to have a high-level of skill with Illustrator or a
working knowledge of Illustrator?)
Project #4 Goal:
For this project, my goal here is to create a product of the future in which will benefit a
society and world in which humans can still live in the world but in a more peaceful environment in
terms of harmony amongst humans and harmony with nature. I plan to showcase my product while
also creating a logo on Adobe Illustrator to reflect my idea of a perfect society miracle to enforce
and push a message of much-needed peace in our harsh world. In addition, I would create a
product that looks simple but would be available and accessible in numerous ways for people of all
ages and sizes to use and engage in a way that connects and brings people together in a way you
cant explain through words but through music and action.
II.
Designing a logo:
As you move to create your logo, you must first pre-visualize
how your logo will look and how this look will represent your
product. Will your product itself be visually represented in your
logo?
Your logo design must be well thought out and
carefully crafted. (DO NOT RUSH THIS)
Your logo should be designed so that it fits with your target demographic
(who you want to buy your product).
Before you draw your logo, list three adjectives that describe
your product: For example: (strong, honest, upstanding) or
(whimsical, playful, exciting) Your word choices should represent
aspects that your consumer base values.

3. Heartwarming
Consider whether it is best to include a name in your logo. If the name
lacks personality it will often not add anything to your logo design.
What is your products name?
The ALL-Dance
Look to other existing logos for inspiration. YOU ARE NOT COPYING A
PRE-EXISTING LOGO. You should look at logos of companies and
products similar to the one you are creating. (Again, look at your
target demographic)
