February 26, 2016 the day of our demonstration. I felt something different like my
previous day here at Rosario East Central School. I go to school having heavy objects. My
laptop, visual aids, and my bag. I prepared my
materials overnight for the preparation today. Today is
the day that I been waiting for a long time. I wanted to
overcome it.
As I entered at the room my hearts beat louder
than the noise of the students inside. I didnt know
what I will do first. After I did my daily routine I
started to prepare my visual aids and power point
presentation for my demonstration. Maam Casas help
me for my preparation. She printed the test paper for
evaluation and other graph to her printer. Ill the one who provided
the typewriting. She wanted me to be ready to my demo and
passed it.
We
go
to the hall to clean it and
prepared the things that we will
go to use. We make the
environment like a room having
chair, table, black board and
white board for students and
another four at the back for the
funnel. When my one coobserver term goes, I help her to the projector and other
things that she needed help. Ill also take her some pictures for her narrative report.
We prepared some foods for the funnel while I was reading my lesson plan.
After three demonstrators its my term to stand in front of the
funnel. When I was standing at the front, the only
word in my mind is Trust God I know I can do
it. I can deliver my lesson fluently. Dont get
nervous its just likewise to your demonstration in
front of your classmates at the BSU. It is the day
that you are waiting for.
When my demonstration undergo, at first I
felt nervous but when the time goes by I forgot
that feelings all I felt is happiness and enjoyment. I assume that I am a real
teacher and no one observing me at the back. I was just teaching

and wanted my students to learn my lesson and adapt knowledge
before the class ended. Im not a kind of serious teacher. Im
putting fun my teaching for the students to enjoy mathematics.
For my group activity I give they envelop with manila paper written the things that they need to
do.
GROUP ACTIVITY
They see that they are cooperating to their group and they criticize the guidelines before
conducting to the activity. After that one
representative presented their work.
After my discussion I gave them exams,

they got high score. Only one got one wrong for
the items the others got perfect score. I gave
them assignment. Then Maam Donna called me
at the back and gives their opinion for my
demonstration. I got negative comments and I
know that, all need negative comments for me to
improve myself. Because negative helps for improvement. The funnel said You deserve to be a
teacher. I was proud to myself to pursue this day. I enhance my skills and my strategies in
teaching.
I accomplish the day with great experiences.

Today is my time to observe again. But now I dont feel

anything just the happiness. Because of my previous
demonstration. I was so shy to meet Maam Casas because I
didnt know if she likes my performances in my demonstration.
I go to the canteen first to do our daily routine there. We help to organize the food and
sell. We ensure that all foods are ok. Maam Tapay asked us to stay there for a moment and help
her. The time goes by; we go to our cooperating teacher. I greet her first and she open about the
scoring sheet. She forgot to give it to Maam Lean. She attached it on the envelope and
commands me to give it to Maam Lean. After that Maam Amelia Casas give me some reading
materials and command me to cover it. It was so many but I can do it, because I know this is for
the students. It will use for the reading remediation.
One of the students of other section goes at the room and Maam Casas asked me to teach
her to read. I asked Maam Casas a permission to go outside. I teach that students to read and I
used the environment to motivate her to read. The time goes by and its lunch time I let her take a
break.
After lunch I saw the students outside at the eating place beside the room. They are all
reading a book. Maam Casas always do that to her students to be a fluent reader. I teach 4
students in reading, I guided them because even they know how to read Maam Casas wanted
them to be a fast reader.
Inside the room Maam Casas have a flashcards another material that she uses in reading.
After that she gave the students the 100 words. Everybody read it faster then read it by group.
The reading session never end on that. Before they go home, the 5 students need to go at front
and the leaders will guided them one by one to see if they already know to read the words. Then
if they read that all words that they may go home.

The day was going on. Another struggle I can encounter for today. But now I just was
going to give my lesson plan to Maam Casas to check it.
Maam Casas consulting me and give some book as
references in my topic to my lesson plan in math. She let me do
my lesson plan at the back while she was teaching Mother
Tongue in front. She is not directly
undergone to discussion. She was
asking some questions that related to
her topic to motivate them. Even
though she is busy she was assisted me
at the back. She was visiting me if I
understand what I need to do to my
lesson plan.
After discussion she check again my lesson plan then
she gave me her book in Math and command me to teach at the front while she is at the back
listening and observing my teaching strategies.
I was shock because Im not ready for that. I was not prepared but I thought that I will do
this also in the future. I go in front with confident and start my discussion. I greet them first then
asked some motivational questions for them to be active.
In the half of my discussion I noticed that they enjoying my discussion and actively
cooperating to the class. Maam Casas was smiling at the back and I continue to teaching in
front. I focus my attention to the students that are not listening. I was asking them and let them to
compute at the board to make them busy in answering and not in chatting to seatmates.
After my discussion I gave them exams and they got high score. Maam Casas recorded
the results of their exams. She called me at the back to explain what I need to do to improve my
lesson plan.
The time goes by and I do my daily routine in the afternoon before going home. I was
tired for this day but I accomplished my entire task with a big smile. I learned more that I can use
for my future endeavor.
