Bristol to Brussels Charity Cycle

Mr Mildon is organising and taking part in a charity cycle event from Bristol to Brussels via Paris, cycling over 550 miles in seven days raising 7000. We are raising money for Clic Sargent and Cardiac Risk in the Young. Clic helped one of the groups families through their daughters battle with cancer which she tragically lost at the age of 13. CRY is a charity which they support and know the importance of what they do having lost a friend through a sudden cardiac death. The seven day cycle challenge is now only four weeks away. If you would like to sponsor him please see his website www.bristoltobrussels.com and click on the donate page.

Clothes for a Cause collection bags can be left in the back lobby by the signing in desk on Monday to Thursday next week. All children should be coming home with bags and a leaflet saying what can be put in them but briefly: Category 1 = good quality, clean clothes/shoes/belts/handbags in one bag and Category 2 = books/soft toys in the other. If you have extra, you can use any plastic bags or bin liners as long as you dont mix the two categories or there are a few extra bags at the signing in desk too. If you dont use bags please return them as we get extra money for them too! FOTM get 55p per kilo for the first category and 5p per kilo for the second. Happy clearing out!

Gardening Club
Gardening club has now started! The children are very keen to get started and have great ideas about what they want to grow. If anyone else wants to join, just speak to me. Everyone is encouraged to enter the competition to design the programme cover for this years production of Alice in Wonderland.
