Jesus Time Cain and Abel Give Offerings to God God knows what is in our heart and sees what we do. Help us to believe that He loves us and wants us to obey Him. God, forgives us for our sins and helps us to obey Him gladly. God Saves Noah and His Family God saved Noah and his family from the flood that destroyed the people who did not love God. Believe that God alone can save us from problems. Thank you Jesus for being God and man to save us from sin. Every other god is an idle idol. They cannot save us.
Language This week in Reading and Writing we will:
Focus on the sounds j, k, l, m, n Fantasy vs. reality Review the sounds and shapes of the alphabet Draw the animals which correspond with some of the letters Review Captain Capital letters and where they can be found. Look for them in titles, names, and the beginning of sentences.
Special points of interest:
Spills happen, the children are good at cleaning them up We do a great job of using our words. Will we sometimes forget and need help? Yes, but we are confident that there are great people in our lives to help us. We have a Savior who has saved us and forgiven us, He helps us too.

Homework to Do With Your Child
Read books to your child ter makes. Find the Captain Capital (capital letters) and everyday. Play the Phonics Game for J, K, L, M, N, and O. Have your child demonstrate the action and the sound each letlook for the lowercase letters. Right the sounds down as you find them. How many did you find? Make tally marks to represent the numeral. Draw numerals 1-9 for your child. Have your child trace them in dry jello, hair gel, or shaving cream. Start at the top.

Parents wait outside of the classroom door until practice is over. After practice, parents will take children to church to sit with them until we sing. Pastor will invite the children of JrK K up front to sing. Afterwards, children will sit with parents.
