The Indian President is the Visitor for all Central Universities. I t is a duty of the President or Visitor to nominate members for Executive Committee, Court, Board of Management or Selection Committees of these universities, as contained in University Act. The nominees are appointed to their respective posts with the help of ministrys secretariat.
