Use and store all equipment chemicals and materials in accordance
with manufacturers instructions and organizational policies and
procedures

Place the basket of instruments into the tank never put instruments
directly onto the base of an ultrasonic washer (if instruments are

Make sure that instruments do not stick out of baskets as they may
affect the washer operation
Connect all cannulated instruments to the appropriate connector on
the basket union if option is available

After the cycle has been completed, remove the basket from the tank
and rinse the items with clean, potable water unless the machine has
an automatic rinse stage, or the load is to be transferred directly into a
washer/disinfector for further processing
Drain and dry the items using a non-linting cloth or mechanical drying

ultrasonic washer should be drained, cleaned, dried, covered and left
dry and empty until

frequency of water renewal depends very much on how often the
