Air-to-ground gun/rocket enemy has .5-3 sec
engage time & limited cannon/rocket ammo.
Air-to-ground bomb depart perpendicular
from bomb line, minimizing fragment density.
IR/radar missiles see classified TTP.
7. Helicopters rotor-mask; operate above the
enemy helicopter.
Maintain maneuver energy; above bucket
speed.
Maintain enemy sight until destroyed if able.
Vector other friendly helos onto enemy.
Deny enemy ability to engage; exit WEZ &
climb to rotor-mask.
Consider use of all organic weapons available;

and sling equipment is secure in the aircraft

3. Clear aircraft & load during operation.
4. Confirm load is hooked and secure.
5. Ensure load is free of entanglements.
6. Continue to monitor load for oscillation.

ground.
5. Use terminology IAW the unit SOP.
Nonrated:
1. Ensure aircraft is configured for rappelling
operations per TC 21-24 & USSOCOM 350-6
when SOP personnel are supported.
