Hospital Management Information System Implementation

a- Admin Panel

Roles:
In this section, you will define the basic roles in MIS. Means which
pages will be available to whom with what rights.
Click on Admin Panel.
Click on roles.
Click on add role.
Give any name with description (optional). ex Computer Operator.
Now select the desired pages with full right or limited rights and save it.

System User:
These are the login users. Here you can define the user with
assigning the role for rights.
Go to admin panel.
Go to sys user.
Click on add user.
Give the detail, like Ihsan@nbh.com and assign the role (available in
right panel).

Setup MISC:
This section is available in Admin Panel.
Department: in this section, you will define the Basic
department. Ex, Pathology, ENT, Surgery, MRI, Accounts and etc.
Location: In this section, you will define the country location
with all possible cities. This information will be used in
Outpatient and In-patient registration form.

b- Chart of Account:
The very first step is Chart of account.
Go to Accounts module.

Then click on Chart of Acc.


Then define Account head.
Define Sub head.
Then finally define Chart of Account.

c- Hospital Setup:
In the Hospital setup, you must define the basic procedure. In this module,
different pages are available.

1- Consultant:

Define: In this section, define the hospital consultant, thats


that Internal or external. Enter it with complete bio data.
Appointment limit: in this section, you will define the
consultant appointment limit on daily basis. Define the limits for
both morning shift and evening shift.
Consultant Leave: if a Consultant is going on leave, then you
will define the consultant leave here in this page. When you
define the leave on specific date, then on that date, the
consultant appointment will be closed.

2- Investigations:

Main Category: in this section, define the main


category with proper selection of department. For
example, select pathology department, the enter
Biochemistry and etc.
Sub Category: in this section, you will define the sub
category of main category, if any.
Test: in this section, you will define the
Investigation/test name.
Enter the complete information with price and map with
proper account head. Test duration means, how much
time will spend on test performance / test preparation
result.

3- Test Format:

In this section, you will define the all investigation/test format ,


in which result will be entered. Select main category, then click on fine. Then
click on any one test format and give any shortcut for that format. And then
design format on your own wish.

4- Beds:

Wards: in this section, you will define the possible ward and
available wards in your Hospital. Give ward name and ward
number with detail (optional), then save it.
Room: in this section, select the ward, then define the room.
Bed: in this section, you will define the Beds. Select the specific
ward and room and define the bed and map with account.
