    Betty Martin
    July 9, 1927 - December 1, 2015

    Sister Betty Martin (88) was a


    69 year member of The Order
    Of The Eastern Star. She was
    the widow of Brother Jack
    Martin, a 35 year member of
    New Carlisle Lodge, who died
    July 8, 2003.

    Kudos to all who helped with the Christmas Party and dinner for the residents
    of the Ohio Masonic Home. Everyone had a good time, what a wonderful way
    to start the Christmas Season.
    New Carlisle Chapter Inspection January 12
    The 162nd Annual Inspection of New Carlisle Chapter will be held
    on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. District Deputy Grand High Priest
    H. William Jones is the inspecting officer. The officers and companions will
    exemplify the Holy Royal Arch Degree, the fourth and final degree of the
    Capitular Rite, for the benefit of candidates Richard Grigsby and Christopher
    Sineno. The Royal Arch Degree is founded upon the destruction of the First
    Temple and the building of the Second Temple E.H.P. William Berry invites
    all members of the chapter to attend in support of the officers and their
    chapter. The chapter will be presenting a twenty-five year award to one of its
    members, and will also recognize all veterans of the armed services who are
    in attendance. Refreshments will be served.

    Lodge Members Receive Awards
    At our Stated meeting and Awards Night December 10 we
    recognized our new 25, 50, 60, 65 and 70 year members.

    RWB. Daniel Hrinko presented


    WB. Paul Geier with a 60 year
    certificate and pin at the Ohio
    Masonic Home December 12.
    Also present for the
    presentation were Donald
    Rutledge, John Wigger, Jay
    Maxwell, Chuck Nessle, and
    Steven Raiff. WB. Geier is
    recovering from leg surgery and
    was doing very well.

    The evening began with a delicious meal prepared by Roger


    Thornbury, Earl Arnett and Becky Raiff. The Knife
    and Fork degree was conferred on all present with
    RWB. Shawn Johnson wearing the jewel of the Knife
    and Fork degree. He received the lecture and word for
    everyone present.
    After the meal, RWB. Shawn Johnson and WM. Steven Raiff
    presented the 25, 50 and 65 year service pins and certificates.
    Those present to receive their pins and certificates were Brothers;
    Jordan Ashley (25), Charles E. Nessle (25), Chester Cadwell (50),
    Terry Estepp (50), Dennis Myers (50), A. J. Laughlin (65).
    Those unable to attend will receive their pins and certificates by
    mail or at a later date: Martyn Slater (25), Herbert Blair (60),
    Everett Blount (60), Paul Geier (60), and Robert Barnhart (70).
