Image editing is available on the DPU850. Optimising and editing the original before printing is incredibly simple and the huge range of customisations means just about all requirements are catered for.
Ink Saving Mode
The DP-U series has been designed to be highly efficient, the ink saving mode allows a 1000ml cartridge to last a great deal longer whilst maintaining high quality prints. By using the ink save mode the user can save money by reducing the cost per copy.

Colour Printing The addition of a spot colour adds real value to a document, a range of 14 standard inks are available, as well as a custom colour matching service should there be a specific colour in mind. Flexible There are a number of ways in which to print with the DP-U series. The USB port supports printing from both Windows and Mac OS computers, producing high quality First Generation copies. The lift-up platen scanner is ideal for copying flat sheets and thick books. The optional USB flash drive is the ideal solution for confidential or last minute print jobs, simply save the file on a USB stick, plug it into the duplicator and start printing!
Environmentally Friendly The DP-U series have been designed to be energy efficient. When operating at full speed, energy consumption is limited to just 240W. Sleep mode reduces energy consumption further to just 8W. Like all duplicators, the print process is completely heat free so there is no need for a lengthy warm-up.

The Multiple exposure function allows
the user to print anything from 1 to 25-up on a single sheet from a full-sized original. This dramatically reduces paper consumption and is a great way to save money. 2 in 1 Mode is also available should the user wish to combine two different images and print them onto one sheet.

Excellent Stacking The stacker features a fan which blows air between each printed sheet. The guides have been specially designed to let out air, resulting in a tidy and straight stack.
High Productivity In less than 30 seconds the machine can be switched on and printing a new job at 150ppm (A4) or 130ppm (A3). The feed tray can be loaded with 1200 sheets allowing a full A4 print run to be completed in just 8 minutes.
Economic Printing Duplicator users benefit from the age old economies of scale principle. Put simply, as the copy run increases, the cost-percopy rapidly decreases. For customers frequently producing high volume jobs (forms, stationery, flyers etc) the savings over competing technologies can be quite astonishing.

The new master and ink of the DP-U series provide blemish-free solids, crisp text and smooth/progressive halftones. The new stronger HDi master material has an even fibre distribution which yields a consistent hole size, enabling the DP-U series to produce high quality prints.
User Friendly The intuitive touch screen control panel is quick and easy to navigate. Shortcuts can be created on the home screen should the user wish to instantly access features such as image editing and book shadow erasure, this in turn saves time when switching jobs. Extra sensors can also be found on the DP-U850 allowing the machine to detect different paper sizes, ideal for a quick set-up.
