    CHRISTMAS GIFT CARDS FOR FUMCH: The Florida United Methodist Childrens
    Home is requesting gift cards instead of buying gifts for the kids. They prefer Visa/
    MasterCard/Amex gift cards and/or major chain store cards (Target, Walmart, etc.) in
    increments of $10, $20 or $25. Cards may be brought to church office during the
    week. Questions? Contact Anne Zecca, local church representative.

    4th SUNDAYDECEMBER 25thCHRISTMAS DAY: There will be no Fellowship Luncheon after worship. Have a wonderful holiday from the U.M.W. to all!!

    FOOD PANTRY NEEDS: The church is experiencing more calls from those that are
    in need of a few extra supplies, especially during the holiday season. We are not a
    pantry but our boxes are intended to help a family of four in an emergency situation
    for three days. Please help with donations of peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit and
    powdered milk. Thanks much!

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY


    We can call on God for help when we feel powerless. When we find ourselves is
    situations that threaten our physical, spiritual, or emotional well-being we can
    be tempted to despair. If were not careful, we can miss the help God is sending our way timely message, a scripture verse, someone to listen, the prayers of a friend.

    PRAYER
    Dear God, when we are tempted to lose heart, remind us to look to you and
    receive the help you so lovingly offer. Amen.
