UC Davis VMTH Hematology Reference Intervals

This document provides reference intervals for common cellular blood components in several species including dogs, cats, horses, foals, cattle, sheep, goats, and alpacas. The reference intervals are given for red blood cell counts, hemoglobin, hematocrit, red blood cell indices, white blood cell counts and differentials, platelet counts, indices and crits, and plasma proteins. The sample sizes used to determine the reference intervals are also provided.
