    ADMISSION

    Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)

    The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program is the latest and the most advanced 4 (four) year academic
    program launched by the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka. As the leading provider of undergraduate
    (BBA), and graduate (MBA, EMBA, M.Phil, and PhD) programs in the country, the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) has
    designed the DBA program in response to the pressing need of the country to produce qualified people to ensure highest
    levels of proficiencies in professional careers, and making them capable to resolve complex issues of the corporate arena both at
    local and global contexts.
    Admission Eligibility:
    a) Academic qualifications:
    A Master Degree, preferably in a business discipline (MBA/MBS/M.Com) from an institution of national/international
    repute with minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a scale of 5 and 3.0 on a scale of 4 from S.S.C. to Masters Levels. Applicants with
    Masters Degree in other disciplines can also apply for enrollment in the program having 50% marks in all the examinations
    from S.S.C. to Masters level.
    b) Professional Experience:
    Minimum 6 years of work experience at a government office, business organization or a non-government organization of repute,
    where at least 3 years experience in senior management or administrative position. The above mentioned requirements may be
    relaxed for any applicant who has scored at least 600 in GMAT or scored at least 307 in GRE during any time in last five years.
    C) Graduates/Master Degree holders from Private Universities must apply for Central Equivalence of their certificates
    before submission of their application forms. At the time of application for Central Equivalence candidates should
    produce copies of syllabus and list of course teachers. Pass Degree holders are not eligible for admission to the DBA
    Program.

    Availability of Form: Prescribed application forms for admission to DBA Program will be available at
    fbs-du.com/dba from September 29 th to October 30, 2016.

    Submission of Online Payment: Payment of Tk. 2,500/- payable( Online procession fee 50Tk will be
    charged) through Mobile Banking (Bkash) by the provider.
    OR
    Submission through Bank: Payment of Tk. 2,500/- payable at Sonali Bank Ltd., Dhaka University
    Campus Branch, A/C 4405701023051, A/C Name: DBA Program, Faculty of Business Studies, DU. The
    original bank deposit copy of the filled in form along with all educational and experience certificates
    required to be submitted at the office of the Dean, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.
