Definition: Wriggle or twist the body from side to side, especially as a result of nervousness or
discomfort
Example: All my efforts to squirm out of his grasp were useless.

Definition: A deep, wide ditch surrounding a castle, fort, or town, typically filled with water and
intended as a defense against attack.
Example: Besides a moat filled with rain water by way of the castle aqueducts, there were two walls,
the lower outer and the higher inner.

Definition: A strong underground prison cell, especially in a castle.
Example: For the past seventeen years he has been kept prisoner in the castle dungeons.

Definition: (Especially of food, money, or some other resource) insufficient for the demand:

Definition: Ugly or disgusting to look at

Definition: Upright, with the back rigid and straight:

Definition: Taking up much space, typically inconveniently; large and unwieldy
Example: The bulky piece of luggage was thrown to the trunk carelessly.

Definition: Food used to entice fish or other animals as prey
Example: Herrings make excellent bait for pike.

Definition: An anchored float serving as a navigation mark, to show reefs or other hazards, or for
mooring

Definition: (Especially of a small animal or child) run with quick light steps, especially through fear or
excitement
Example: He scampered in like an overgrown puppy.

Definition: Very unpleasant; repulsive
Example: So, to all you spitters out there: it's gross, disgusting, unhealthy and classless, and every
time you do it you look like a trashy hood rat.
