THE TASK: was to research, plan, film and write persuasive text a chosen Australian capital city.
Their task was
to base is around a Tv commercial persuading their fellow classmates as to why they should visit or holiday in this specific city. Students had a checklist of aspects they needed to cover in their film. Whilst this is a geography unit students were also asked to do some persuasive writing to accompany their video which entailed purpose and grammar. A heavy focus of this assessment is on the geographical aspect however literacy did play a part in grading.
