Manual Programming - 9xx Commands - JP1 Remotes

This document provides instructions for using 9xx commands to program various functions on One For All and UEI universal remote controls. Some of the commands covered include setting device power buttons, locking channel control to a device, turning backlighting on/off, learning commands from other remotes, deleting learned functions, restoring configuration, programming macros, and restoring factory defaults. The commands consist of a sequence of button presses that include pressing and holding the setup button followed by a 3-digit code. Not all remotes support all functions and some remotes require additional steps to activate certain commands.

Advance Codes and Effective Function Codes (EFC) are interchangeable
The "Setup" and "Magic" buttons are also equivalent.
