Synthetic Seismogram

What?
An artificial seismic record manufactured by assuming that a
particular waveform (seismic data) travels through an assumed
earth model (well data).

Why?
Used to tie seismic reflections to measurable geologic
information derived from wells.

• Crossplot Overlays are used as an indication of reservoir lithology.
LogPAK provides overlays for Density/Neutron, Sonic/Neutron and
Density/Pe. There’s also an interactive Pickett-Buckles crossplot for Rw
and water cut estimation.

• Interactive Vshale displays for each well show the program-derived Clean
and Shale baselines on the GR and SP curves. These baselines can be
edited graphically or manually.

• Intelligent defaults and “expert system” to minimize required user input

• Able to simultaneously process many wells with varying log suites
