    Hello, I’m Alex. I’m 15 and I’m from South Africa. I’ve got two sisters, Mary and Jane.
    Mary is 17 and Jane is 8. I live with them! We can speak English and French, because
    our dad is French. I’ve got short dark hair and dark eyes. I’m quite tall. It was my birthday
    yesterday. My present was a new phone J. I love using Snapchat and listening to music
    on my phone, but I don’t like dogs.

    TEXT B: SHONA

    Hiya, I’m Shona. I’m from London, England. I’ve got wavy ginger hair and blue eyes. I’m
    16 years old and I go to Secondary School. I’m into subjects like history and sociology,
    because I like reading a lot, especially about the past. I’m also into live music, that’s why
    I love going to concerts. I think pop bands aren’t very good, I prefer rock and roll because
    it’s excellent.

    TEXT C: PEDRO

    I’m Pedro. I’m from Medellin, Colombia. I’m quite tall and slim, with short straight hair.
    Here’s a photo of me with my favourite pet. It’s my dog, Poppy. I’ve got three other pets:
    a cat, a hamster and a parrot. In my free time I like playing with my pets and watching
    Discovery Channel. I don’t like watching fiction, I prefer documentaries.

    Hi, I’m Amy. I’m 14 and I’m from Melbourne, Australia. I’ve got long straight dark hair and
    I wear glasses. I love going to school and studying. My favourite subjects are science
    and maths, because I love numbers. I don’t enjoy reading, that’s why I don’t like history.
