RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.
Like Educreations, ShowMe is an interactive screencast app that turns your iPad into an interactive whiteboard. Users can create
lessons with the app and the app can capture your voice recording.
I would use this app to turn my classroom into a flipped classroom. Students would go home with guided notes and spend, at
most, 30 minutes watching videos and taking notes from my video lessons. Then in class the next day we would work on
homework / classroom using the same video lessons to help guide the lecture.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Given the information above, how would the technology integration you described, using the selected resource? (On the
“Value-Added Rating Scale” above)
Explain your rating based on the indicators on the rubric.
I would rate this application a 2. While it is useful for creating lessons, it is more beneficial for students to do application work and
present their work with this app. I would more likely use Educreations for actual lesson development. However, ShowMe is just as
good for its screencasting capability.
